Texans play around with the Redskins, win 52-38
Ben Tate goes over 100 with 3 TDs
Landover, MD-- What should have been a going away big win for the visiting Houston Texans turned into a close 14 point spread. Washington being down 21 points with under 4 minutes to go, somehow trimmed the lead down to 7. After a Laron Landry pick 6, the Skins' recover an onside kick while Sanchez would end up finding Armstrong with a 39 yard TD pass with 2:50 remaining. Texans weren't satisfied and decided to punch in another to extend it to 14 with 1:08 remaining in which they secured the victory 52-38.
Rookie CB Tyjuan Grant finally made some headway getting his first interception of his career in the third quarter, but let alone he wouldn't of known that it would turn into a CAREER day! He totaled four interceptions on the day, but on his last he would tear his abdominal and will be out 4 weeks.
Knight continuously pushed his quarterback, DyJuan Dozier, attempting 39 passes in a somewhat comfortable lead in which he probably made it a lot closer if he decided to hand the game over to Ben Tate and Cameron Weatherford. Dozier did go out of the game with a pectoral injury as Yates came in and went 1/2 for 28 yards and has good chemistry with Baldwin. Dozier would hit 8 different receivers on the day, his main weapons Andre Johnson (7 Rec 121 yards TD) and Jonathan Baldwin (6 Rec 105 yards 2 TDs) did most of the damage as Rookie Ja'Mario Gardner got into the action with 3 Rec 49 yards.
Turned the Skins over 6 times, as we (Dozier) turned it over 4 (3 INTS, Fum) times. Two bad throws in which shouldn't happen against a user but never know and a flukey in the pocket hit/catch returned for TD.

Broncos Demolish Raiders, Move to 3-0Broncos 37 - Raiders 14
This AFC West matchup looked like it was going to be a good one early as the score was 10-7 Broncos at the half. But Raider mistakes in the 2nd half led to a Broncos rout. In the 3rd quarter, the Broncos took the opening drive all the way for a TD to put them up 17-7 after a Moreno 21 yard TD run. Then, on the Raiders next possession, Jones threw a pick 6 to Bradley Fletcher and the Broncos would be up 24-7. On the Raiders next possession, Jones would be intercepted again, this time by Tyrell Johnson, and he was tackled at the Raider 3 yard line leading to a Moreno TD run on the next play to make it 31-7. Still in the 3rd, the Raiders would drive, and this time Jones found one of his own teammates in Jacoby Ford and he took it down the sideline for a 39 yard TD pass. In the 4th, the Broncos would add 2 Matt Prater FG's to seal the victory at 37-14, moving them to 3-0 and expanding their division lead.

When in doubt, Run the ballAP goes off for the third straight game, Panthers win 33-14 A game that looked bleek in the first quarter. The rain would be coming down in sheets and Carolina Panther QB Cam Newton ended up throwing an interception on his first pass of the game. The Falcons would capitalize and go up 7-0. That would be the only points the Falcons scored in the first half, but they still would lead by one point at halftime. So what was a defensive first half, turned into a big play second half with the Falcons getting the first strike. On a 3rd and 1, Kennedy would quick hit a WR for a big time touchdown. From there on the Panther defense locked down and AP would start setting the tone. The Panthers ended up scoring 4 more touchdowns on the day, with two coming from Peterson. The defense would force four second half turnovers including three interceptions. Now the Panthers head into the bye week sitting at 3-0.

Colts 2-1 with win over Titans Could this be the year for the Afc South to produce the playoff teams only time with tell with all 4 teams now being 2-1. Colts came out with one thing in mind and that was hope the defense isnt a fluke job that happened against the Giants. It didnt start out well as CJ made the defense eat plenty of dirt and grass as he busted out a 60yd td run.Colts would drive right down the field and Anderson would hit Brown from 20yds out to tie the game up at 7. CJ would score from 3yds out once again toward the end of the 1st quarter to take a 14-7 lead after 1. Colts would add 2fgs and Lloyd would get a sack fumble that Elliott would return 36yds for the td and colts would take a 20-14 lead into halftime. Titans would get a fg in 3rd and Colts would add 2 more fgs and that would be all the scoring in the game as the colts win 26-17
I was winning in the 4th then you got 3 TDs of 60+ yards out of nowhere. FML
Chargers Notch First Win of Young SeasonDefense Steps Up, San Diego Wins 31-21
After an off season in which money was dished out in masses and an 0-2 start, the Chargers were struggling for answers. Some of the questions were answered in Arizona as the Chargers defense finally stepped put and played to expectations.
After jumping out to an early 17-0 lead on the back of QB Tim Tebow (12 / 16, 120 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 10 car, 77 yards, 2 TDs), rookie SS Donovain Hill would make his biggest mistake of the young season and let WR Larry Fitzgerald (3 rec, 116 yards, 1 TD) slip behind him and catch a beautifully thrown ball from QB Peyton Manning (9 / 20, 186 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs). That 80 yard touchdown strike would shorten the San Diego lead with less then 2 minutes remaining before half time. The Cardinals would quickly add 7 more to their total as Tebow would over throw a wide open HB Arian Foster (21 car, 84 yards, 1 TD) to a waiting FS Tercel Aaron who would take it 22 yards to the house. Despite the quick plays the Chargers would limp into half time up 17-14.
The Chargers would open up the 2nd half scoring with a 2 yard Arian Foster scamper and a shifty 28 yard touchdown run from HB Ryan Mathews (9 car, 94 yards, 1 TD) who was stellar in relief of Foster. Despite a late rally from the Cardinals, the Chargers were able to fend off an onside kick attempt and come away with their first victory of the season.
