GG sdid22 see you in the Lou in a couple weeks!
the chiefs had issues in game number 4 as lost 24-14 , the wide outs didnt catch the ball well in 2nd quater and 3rd quater . really woke up in the 4th as chiefs score 14 points vs the colts. holmes had over 100 rec yards with 1d , breaston caught 1 td , stanzi threw for 306 2tds and 3ints. Coach Sporty says force little too much and turn it over 3 times as ints hurt , luck ran out also but we be ok. Coach we had chances least to score in 1st quater , we the chiefs didnt get it done as me the coach didnt get it done and we moved on now facing dolphins , good luck to colts d as its fastest d i seen this year. charles had 11 carries for 16 yards as colts d was too fast and had brick wall waiting for charles. the chiefs next game is at home vs the fins.
Colts defense continues to play well It was another nice performance from the Colts defense who for the most part played great until the end. They dominated the run game and made the Chiefs a passing team which is what the plan was going into this one. It really worked well until late in the 4th quarter where the Chiefs would score 14 points in the last 2:45 of the game. Anderson has played very well for the Colts this year and with Ingram out they needed him to continue. He went 12-15 198yds 2tds 0ints. Demarco ran 27att 82yds 1td but we really need Ingram back who is gone for 2 more weeks and will be welcomed back big time when he gets back in uniform. Diggs has had a great year this year and continued to play well with 7tckl and 1ff. Drc/Vontea both got a pick and the 3rd pick came from 2nd rd pick Reed who grabbed his 1st of the year this week. Coach was still upset at his team for the fact of giving up so much especially towards the end of the game. We are out here to dominate the offense we can't allow this to happen late early or at all. Defense is what we rely on and defense needs to hold up better. We can take this as a learning experience and hope to improve next week when we face the Steelers. Colts have moved to 4-1 on the season.
CAM KNOWSNewton has another stellar game in the win Superstar QB Cam Newton had another stellar game today to lead the Panthers to 4-0. The biggest thing was Cam made only a few mistakes and would lead his team down the field on several drives Newton would also throw for 3 touchdowns on the day. Other than the QB, the defense would play outstanding for 3 1/2 quarters. After Frank Gore broke free for an 85 yard touchdown, the defense got their ass chewed out. The defense would force three turnovers and ultimately take the game away, until midway through the 4th quarter. SS Dario Dickerson continues his quest for a defense MVP. Next up for the Panthers is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cam - 18/30 304 yards 3 TDs AP - 24 carries 112 yards 2 TDs Dario Dickerson 8 TKLS 1 INT 1 FF
Packers Survive Philly, Win 31-24
"This was a good win for our team", Coach Wayers said after the game. "Everytime they scored we were able to march down the field and score too, and our defense played tough when we needed them the most". The Eagles would start off the scoring first with an 8 yard TD run by Vick. The Packers would answer right back though, with a 59 yard TD pass to Jermichael Finley. The score would go back and forth all the way up to the 4th quarter when Aaron Rodgers connected with Greg Jennings for a 40 yard TD pass that would take the lead late.
He has competition with Diggs. the 1,2 ss in the draft that year
New York, New YorkGMen take care of Minnesota, 23-10 East Rutherford, NJ - The New York Giants started the season 0-2, looking for answers and worried about the rest of the season. Since then, they've won 3 straight including the big win against the Vikings in MetLife Stadium. The Giants run game had been missing for the first 2 games of the season, but it showed today that it is for real. HB Corey Mays returned to glory rushing for an astonishing 146 yards on 17 attempts and a big 51 yard TD that put New York up 20-10 with 6 minutes remaining in the 4th. HB's Ahmad Bradshaw and Mack "Daddy" Johnson added to the success as Bradshaw tacked on 40 yards and the game opening Touchdown, and Johnson rushed for 21 yards on 3 carries, including a big first down to seal the game for the Giants. Another missing link at the beginning of the season was the Giants Defense. It showed up today. New York held Minnesota to 60 yards rushing and held Lesean McCoy to just 28 on 10 carries. They also caused havoc for QB Christian Ponder. The Giants front 7 forced 5 total sacks throughout the day and DT Marvin Austin had 4 as he was named Player of the Game for his performance. LB Greg Jones also stepped up huge coming in for the injured Hawthorne. He managed to be in on just about every tackle on the day and picked off Ponder early. LB Aaron Curry also proved to be a huge pick up for the Giants, as he was also a pain in the Vikings side all game, including blowing up HB Chris Ivory and forcing a fumble late. Next up for the Giants is a big game against the Atlanta Falcons. GG controllerabuser
Running Game Key as Chargers Upset BroncosBroncos No Longer Undefeated, Chargers Win 24-14
After losing a heart breaker earlier this season in his return to Denver, QB Tim Tebow (11 / 14, 204 yards, 2 TDs, 8 car, 19 yards) was looking for some payback. A lot of ground work and two big plays later, he had it.
After an opening half that was filled with great defense and 3-and-outs, it didnt take long for the scoring to open up in the 2nd half. Taking some notes from their first encounter this season, Tebow would hit WR Javarie Donaldson (3 rec, 66 yards, 1 TD) on a 57 yard screen pass (the same play he took 52 yards to the house the first time these two teams met) to finally break the scoreless tie and put the Chargers up 7-0. After adding a field goal, Tebow was at it again to open the 4th quarter. This time he would hook up with TE Kevin Young (3 rec, 98 yards, 1 TD) on a corner route who would slip a diving tackle and take it 70 yards to pay dirt. It didnt take long for Denver to answer as they would put together a great responding drive that ended when QB Brendan Evans (19 / 29, 302 yards, 2 TD, 2 INTs) found WR Eddie Royal (2 rec, 56 yards, 1 TD) from 7 yards out to make it a 17-7 game. San Diego would go after the clock on their next drive and after chewing up almost 4 minutes of clock on the ground, HB Ryan Mathews (12 car, 86 yards, 1 TD) would break free from 47 yards out to put San Diego up 24-7. Denver would add another late touchdown but it proved to be too little too late.
HB Arian Foster (18 car, 112 yards) went over the century mark for the first time this season and the Chargers defense stepped up big time after being run over by HB Knowshon Moreno (7 car, 17 yards) in their first meeting.
Great game biggcoug65, as always.
Boone Struggles But Comes Through In The ClutchPatriots Beat Rival Dolphins 24-23 The game started off perfectly for the Pats. On the opening kickoff, the Dolphins returner fumbled when he got hit. It was recovered by rookie CB Ben Bell who returned it for a TD. After that, it was a game where Miami clearly looked like the better team. New England's defense was tough and did a good job but it was obvious that the Dolphins were just able to move the ball better. Jaxon Boone was a sensation is his first appearance but tossed up a few interceptions in this game and rarely connected on some of his deeper throws. However, he was crucial to the Patriots winning. While the Pats defense was able to hold the Dolphins to FGs, Boone and the offense was able to get a huge TD towards the ends of each half. Late in the 4th quarter with just 1 timeout remaining, Boone threw a perfect pass to convert a 4th down. An incompletion there would've meant a loss. On the very next play, Boone connected on his lone deep pass of the game on a streak to Antwan Barksdale. Barksdale was tackled inside of the 5 yard line. RB Harrison Anthony would bring it in for a TD on the play after that to take the lead. Kolb and the Dolphins couldn't do the same though despite having 2 Hail Mary shots. With this win, the Patriots have already matched their win total from last season. Just 1 game out of the division lead, the hopes of Patriot fans are rising for this team.
another good game man!
Houston wins the Battle for Texas Ben Tate carves through the Cowboys D en route to a 2 TD, 100+ yard performance
Houston, TX-- The game preview led this game to become a high scoring offensive affair, in which it was for one of the highest offensive output teams in the Texans. Houston was also suppose to give up hundreds of yards but throughout the bye week they went through some tough team meetings and didn't believe they were bad as they have played over the first 3 games. They came out determined and allowed 322 total yards, 200 coming from Mallett through the air.
Coach Knight wanted to all but give up on Dozier last year and he has taken back all those words and even though he is leading the #1 passing offense, Ben Tate is still the guy that is going to get the touches. And he did the most of what he got, 16 carries for 141 yards with 2 TDs. Andre Johnson led all WRs with 7 receptions and 108 yards but it was Jonathan Baldwin that had 3 receptions 78 yards and the 2 TDs. Dallas receiver Dez Bryant hauled in a beautiful deep pass which probably should have been challenged but it was let go and the Cowboys punched it in to cut the lead to 21-7.
Texans defense ended up being the difference creating 3 turnovers, 3 sacks and an Int while Dallas only tallied a sack. Jon Beason only collected 3 solo tackles but earned his first sack of the year, along with another pressure that he was a half a step late to add another. Later he caught Dez Bryant coming across the middle and laid the lumber to him creating a forced fumble.

Player of the GameRushed for 4 td’s in win versus Buffalo
The New York Jets get a huge early season win against a good opponent in the Buffalo Bills. Newly acquired Qb Mathew Stafford played rather well for just his second start for the Jets. He would complete 17 of his 28 attempts for 305yds and 1 td. Disappointed by HB Octvious Hardy’s previous game where he fumbled twice in pivotal situations, Coach Forever decided to go back to Jonathan Stewart as the starting tailback and he didn’t disappoint. Stewart didn’t wow the rushing yards column, but did find the end zone 4 times on the day. WR Sidney has probably benefitted most from the arrival of Stafford as he caught 8 ball for 130 yds. Although Buffalo rookie QB played well at times, The Jets defense keep him off balanced pretty much all day as they held him to 218 yds and 3 picks. Former Jet HB, Shonn Greene was also held in check as he amassed just 24 yards on the ground on 13 carries. The win gives The Jets a 4-1 record with a bye set for the upcoming week.
