Week 1 at Arizona State (CPU)

Ohio State was able to limit their mistakes and capitalized on some mistakes from the Sun Devils. ASU QB Donny Hubbard passed for 326 yards, but was picked off three times. OSU QB Rashad Rogers passed for 187 yards and rushed for 88. He scored 2 rushing touchdowns and passed for a touchdown. Ohio State played a very balanced offensive game with 266 passing yards and 240 rushing yards.

    Ohio State 41 - Arizona State 13

Week 3 vs Oregon ( Hokie Effect )

Oregon led most of this game but the Buckeyes took the lead after a pick six by CB #1 Josh Mason. That touchdown gave OSU a 4 point lead, 21-17. The score remained the same until a controversial safety called against OSU HB David Jones. It appeared Jones had momentum falling out of the endzone but refs called the safety. Oregon kicker Cole Banks made an iced field goal and the Ducks escaped with a 22-21 win.

    Oregon 22 - Ohio State 21

    Week 5 at Florida State ( Twister18 )

Ohio State broke some big plays in this game, led by a very good performance by QB Rashad Rogers. Rogers finished the game with 3 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown. The passing touchdowns were all more than 50-yards plays. Lamont Rucker scored a 54-yard TD in the first quarter and an 80-yard TD in the second quarter. Robbie Robinson scored on an 82-yard touchdown. Rogers added a 25-yard rushing TD and WR Alex Morris scored on an end around. David Jones also had a good game for the Buckeyes. He rushed for 105 yards and added 27 receiving yards. Florida State QB Mark Smith passed for 292 yards but was picked off 3 times. The FSU running game struggled against the OSU defense. HB Brad Sanders managed just 36 yards on 12 carries.

    Ohio State 35 - Florida State 17

    Week 6 vs Illinois (CPU)

This was an important game for the Buckeyes as most of the recruiting class visited this week. The Buckeyes were able to out play rival Illinois. CB Ryan Brown started things off with a pick six touchdown. The rest of the Buckeyes' touchdowns came through the rushing attack. HB David Jones rushed for 93 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. QB Rashad Rogers struggled passing the ball but he rushed for 99 yards and a TD. Rogers finished the day with 380 passing yards but he was picked off 3 times. Most of the picks came deep in Illinois territory. WR Lamont Rucker added a short rushing score in the fourth quarter.

Week 7 vs Michigan State ( Mogriffjr )

The Buckeyes jumped off to an early lead as Michigan State's running back fumbled the ball on the first play from scrimmage. DE Ken Seward scooped the fumble and returned it for a TD. OSU added a field goal but Michigan State responded with a pair of touchdowns to take the lead 14-10. The Buckeyes regained the lead in the second quarter and would not relinquish the lead for the remainder of the game. Rashad Rogers threw TD passes from 54-yards and 56-yards. Both plays were short passes that turned into long touchdowns. The second half was fairly quit, OSU added a pair of field goals and Michigan State scored a TD late in the fourth quarter. The key for OSU was 5 takeaways, including 4 picks by MSU QB Kevin Crowell. On offense OSU was led by Rogers and HB David Jones. Jones finished with 105 rushing yards.

    Week 8 vs UCLA ( charter04 )

Ohio State needed a late comeback and OT to secure this win. UCLA jumped out to an early lead and led 10-3 late in the second quarter. The Buckeyes bounced back with 2 TD passes in less than 2 minutes, taking a 17-10 lead at halftime. UCLA tied the game in the third quarter and reclaimed the lead in the fourth quarter. OSU tied the game on a 5 yard TD pass from QB Rashad Rogers with 23 seconds left in the game. UCLA tried to get into field goal range before the end of regulation but Bernard Butler threw an interception. The Buckeyes had time for a very long field attempt but the kick went left of the upright. OSU won the coin toss and elected to start on defense. UCLA was held to a field goal on their attempt. The Buckeyes lost yards on first two plays, but QB Rashad Rogers was able to scramble for a long third down conversion. He fumbled the ball on that play but it was recovered by an OSU player. After a couple more plays OSU had the ball inside the 1-yard line. FB Ryan Johnson punched in the game winning TD. Rogers led the way with 239 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. WR Alex Morris caught 2 TD passes and HB David Jones added 109 rushing yards.

    Week 9 at Miami ( larrylance )

This game started great for Buckeyes' fans as Ohio State jumped out to 14-0 lead on first two offensive possessions. QB Rashad Rogers found TE Maurice Moss for a 37-yard TD pass. HB David Jones scored the second TD on a 62-yard run. The Buckeyes offense struggled at this point and these struggled were amplified when Rashad Rogers left the game with an injury. OSU was winning 17-0 prior to injury but Miami closed the gap late in the second quarter. HB Blake Baker scored a short rushing TD to bring the score to 17-7. Neither team found the end zone in the second half and both squads managed just a field goal. Miami QB Jason Callahan was picked off 3 times in this game, including 2 interceptions near the goal line. David Jones managed 137 rushing yards for OSU but most of those yards came on the 62-yard TD. Backup QB Jesse Rogers passed for just 63 yards and was picked off twice.

    Week 1 at Missouri

This game was never very close. The Bruins came out strong and were up 28 to 0 at the half. The defense at a great game holding the Tigers to 0 yards rushing on 28 carries. At this point in the season coach Henderson had not made up his mind on who would be the starting QB. TJ Hood did not have a good game at all going 2-7 for 20 yards and Butler was 9-12 for 168 and 2 TD's. He won the job pretty much based on this game.

    UCLA 38
    Missouri 8

    Week 3 vs Miami

This started as a user v user game. Both games got disconnected at the beginning of the second half. Me and Larrylance actually played a full game when counting both half's. The first game I was up 7-0 at the half and the second I was up 16-14 at the half. The total score would be 23 to 14. Kind of lame but, I just don't like playing games over and over. So I played the CPU for the game but, it didn't save my results. The game was simed. Not sure if this was on purpose but, that worked out good.

    UCLA 34
    Miami 24

    Week 5 vs Stanford

This was a close game as always with these two teams. The winner should do the game summary so I am just going to post the score.

    UCLA 20
    Stanford 23

    Week 6 vs Oklahoma

UCLA went into this game with 2-1 record. Oklahoma was a very tough opponent. The CPU likes to steal a win about once a year. Luckily I kept my cool and pulled it out. UCLA QB B. Butler had a big time game and it took every yard to pull this one out. He went 34-48 for 450 yards and 3 TD's.

    UCLA 27
    Oklahoma 24

    Week 7 at UCONN

Even though UCONN came in ranked in the top 25 they were clearly overrated. This was not a contest at all. The Bruins racked up 49 points by half time and just cruised the rest of the game with back ups. It was nice to have an entire half to check out the future of UCLA football.

WR Jake Gray was the POTG. He had 12 cths for 298 and 5 TD's all in the first half. He got hot pretty quick and just dominated.

    Week 10 at Florida St.

UCLA and Florida St. came into the game with 4-3 records and both needed this win to salvage their seasons. The Bruins played pretty close to a perfect game. They had gotten way to pass happy the last few games and had to many turnovers. This game they had good balance and didn't have any turnovers. Their defense played a good game and the offense was on point. FSU put up a very good fight but, it just wasn't their day.

QB B. Butler was 17-22 for 311 yds and 3 tds
WR J. Grey had 8 rec for 208 yds and 2 tds

    UCLA 38
    FSU 21

    FSU: 22 Miami: 17

Another tough game against the Hurricanes for Coach Twist. The game was mainly controlling field position and the half time score was FSU 9-3 over the Hurricanes. The Canes finally busted open a TD throw to their TE to give the Canes a 10-9 lead but 30 seconds later, Smith throws an 89 yard catch and run to TE Brian Taylor. The Canes come roaring back with a short TD run by HB Baker to give them the the lead 17-16. The Sems then moved down the field and scored the final TD on a 33 yard pass to TE Brian Taylor again. The 2 pt try failed and the score ended up 22-17.

GG Coach Larry!! These matchups are awesome fun but they give me ulcers!!

    FSU: 28 USC: 12

The game opened with a fast and furious pace. The Seminoles scored on a 40 yard TD pass to WR Chris Dunn to take the 7-0 lead. After giving up a FG to the Trojans, QB Mark Smith was pick 6ed by FS Ralph Lattimore to give the Trojans a 9-7 lead after the game hiccuped on the XP. The Trojans would extend their lead to 12-7 on another FG but Smith would make a nice pass to Dunn for a 45 yard TD pass with 14 seconds left in the half to give the Sems a 14-12 lead.

The Seminoles would clamp down on defense in the second half to hold the Trojans scoreless in the second half while Smith threw another tD pass to TE Taylor and Branch would add the final tally on the ground.

GG Coach Green!!! Very tough until momentum took over.

    Week 12 - vs USC ( Cgreen214 )

This was a very well played, defensive match up. Both defenses performed at a high level in this match and there were very few big plays. The Buckeyes offense gained only 194 yards, while USC was held to 162. Both teams finished the game with 10 first downs. The difference in this game was interceptions. USC QB Chris Cunningham passed for just 85 yards and he was picked off 3 times. The first interception was grabbed by OLB Nick Lewis. He returned the ball to the 1-yard line, setting up the first touchdown of the game. Warren Young punched in the score on an end around run. On the other side, Rashad Rogers only passed for 117 yards but didn't have any turnovers. Rogers also added a 17-yard TD pass to WR #3 Nate Stewart.
