#3 Oregon walks all over the Sun Devils
    52 - 10

Jeremy Carpenter set a NEW SCHOOL RECORD with 400 yards rushing today on just 22 carries! The Record has not been forgot as the NCAA is checking to see if its a National Record.
Arizona State was yet another team that came out and tried to run the Hurry Up offense on the Ducks but it was not successful with exception very early and very late in the game. For the game the Ducks held the Sun Devils to 18 yards rushing on 16 carries. Travis Mixon of ASU was sacked 6 times and he threw an INT that was taken back for a TD by Josh Moore of Oregon.
Offensively, Oregon was able to do whatever they wanted! They didnt need to throw it much but when they needed to itwas there for them. The running game saw HUGE holes and poor tackling on the part of the Sun Devils.

Redemption for Bama as they Knock Off LSU
    [IMG]

Alabama stayed alive for the National Championship race and setup a big showdown in three weeks as they will face Auburn for a chance at a trip to the SEC Championship and potentially the National Championship. Alabama also got redemption for a drumming they took last season in Tuscaloosa at the hands of LSU.

After a couple of three-and-outs, HB Jesse Johnson (14 car, 115 yards, 1 TD) opened up the scoring with a huge 80 yard TD scamper. LSU would answer quickly though as on the ensuing drive they would take a run 80 yards themselves to tie the game at 7-7. Early in the 2nd quarter though, Alabama would take the lead. QB Isaiah Ellison (13 of 23, 138 yards, 2 TDs) connected with TE Joey Flynn (4 rec, 58 yards, 1 TD) on a 20 yard score. Alabama would not relinquish the lead.

After a scoreless third quarter, the Tide would extend their lead as Ellison would connect with WR Sean Thomas (3 rec, 30 yards, 1 TD) to put Alabama up 21-7. Alabama would add to their lead again as CB Corey Jones returned a Hill interception 16 yards to the house. LSU would add another 71 yard TD run late, but by then it was too little, too late.

Up next for the Tide they host #19 Mississippi State at home as they prepare for a week 14 showdown with Auburn.
