#3 Oregon whoops up on the CAL Bears
    52-7

Oregon used their misdirection offense to confused and run wild on the Bears of California. Jeremy Carpenter ran for 266 yards on 22 carries and scored 3 times on the day. Sidney Griffin also ran for over 100 yards on just 8 carries for 132 yards and another 3 TD's! The oregon defense forced 5 turnovers as the Quarterback from CAL scrambled all game long and paid the price!
Defensively the Ducks scored once while setting up the offense with great field position most of the night!

Auburn played a real sloppy game on both sides of the ball we had good #'s but I was not pleased with the way we played. Miller continues his stellar play and if he could stop throwing INTs he might be a great player.

We did get commits from the top HB this week and are very proud of how we are doing on the recruiting trail.

Bama Stays Unbeaten After Win Over Ole Miss
    [IMG]

Alabama took care of Ole Miss, but not without a cost. Starting HB Jessie Johnson (4 car, 27 yards) went down late in the 1st quarter and the early prognosis is that he'll be out for up to 7 weeks. The Rebels started off the scoring early in the 1st quarter with a nice 24 yard pass from QB Guy Gross to WR Chris Nixon, but that would be the only good mark on the day for the Rebels. Carl Cutler (13 car, 108 yards, 2 TDs) was fantastic in relief for Johnson as he carried Bama to a big win. QB Isiah Ellison (13 of 20, 243 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs) continues to play stellar despite his turnovers.

The Tide defense was again fantastic, holding the Rebels to just 6 rushing yards on the day and forcing 4 turnovers.

Up next for the Tide is a big road test against SEC foe Tennessee.

Colorado Wins Again After Coming Back From Down 21-0 To Stanford

Colorado is becoming quite the explosive team. For most of the 1st half, it was all Stanford. The Buffs couldn't keep them out of the endzone and they couldn't move the ball very well either. Then with about 3 minutes left in the 1st half, Colorado exploded. Monty Allen started finding open receivers and moved down the field for a TD. Then after a 3 and out for Stanford, Allen and Colorado moved down the field again for another TD to close the game to 21-14. Stanford got greedy though and wanted to try and answer with just 20 seconds left in the half. Stanford QB Beau Nelson threw an INT to Jason Little who returned it for a TD to tie the game at 21 at halftime.
In the 2nd half, the 2 teams went back and forth. No team ever led by more than 1 score. It was clear that the winner would be whoever had the ball last and that ended up being Colorado. Stanford tied it close to the end but Colorado moved down the field and won the game on a FG with no time remaining.
