Eagles defense, running game help get win over Dolphins
The Eagles would come back home to hopefully get their first win at home. The game started off being a game of punting, with each team not being able to convert a 3rd down on their first drives. However after a Matt Ryan INT, MIA would be on the board first, 3-0. The Eagles would come back in the early 2nd and score a FG of their own. Towards the end of the second quarter would be where things get interesting. With around 13 seconds left, FS Nate Allen would get a pick 6 to put the Eagles up 7 after the XP. Then on kick off, MIA would fumble, leaving one second on the clock, for Alex Henery to hit a 31yd FG to give the Eagles a 13-3 lead. Henery would hit FGs in the 3rd for a 16-3 lead, and a 24 yd run by HB Delone Carter, and a TD pass to Brent Celek would seal the Eagles victory 30-3. Eagles would only allow 3 net yards passing, but 121 yards rushing. For the Eagles offense, they had 146 yds rushing, and 158 yards passing. Eagles would also go 6/12 on 3rd down, while the Dolphins went 1/10.

Packers Win a Sloppy Game Against Seahawks 27-14

The rain was a big factor today in Green Bay, neither quarterback could get into a rhythm throughout the game. Rodgers completed less then 50 % of his passes while his counter did the same. Na'Quan Boyd continued to be a force on defense adding 2 more sacks and 5 total tackles for the Packers.

    Giants Head Home 4-0
After Starting the Season with Four Straight Road Wins, Big Blue Heads Back to NYC
Tampa Bay, FL - The New York Giants headed even further south to take on the winless, but stingy TB Buccs. With spending the past month on the road, the GMen were ready to head back to the Big Apple, but wanted to go home with four wins to their name. They did just that.
Tampa Bay put up a fight and made New York find a different way to beat them. With no Corey Mays for the remainder of the regular season, New York signed HB Daniel Thomas to a 1-year deal. Unfortunately, in his first series in blue, he coughed up the football, halting a beautiful opening drive. HB Lagarette Blount proved to be trouble for the Giants defense, as he would not go down easily. However, the Giants defense was able to keep him in check and keep the game close enough for the offense to strike late in the game. After going up 21-20 at the start of the 4th, CB Dekendrick Seymour picked off a pass from Freeman and took it 59 yards for the touchdown, giving Big Blue a 28-20 lead. Despite a late rally by TB, they failed on the 2-point conversion attempt and missed the onside kick, securing the Giants undefeated start to the season.
