    Sao Paulo 1 - West Ham 3
d/c at end for no stats :(
    :goal: Luis Fabiano :assist:Lucas

MOTM: Jaaskelainen (Agreed on by me and Zikry for FF purposes)
Early goal put Sao Paulo ahead as West Ham was shaky throughout the fist half. Andy Carroll found a way to equalize just before half to change the game. He tallied a second on a nice counter attack to give the Hammers the lead for good. Super sub Kevin Nolan tacked on one late. Jaaskelainen was superb in net for West Ham keeping Sao Paulo to just a single goal.

Udinese was lucky to even be in the game at halftime as West Ham was launching attack after attack, and an early West Ham goal could have made halftime much more uncomfortable for the visitors except for a lucky bounce that resulted in a West Ham own goal. Udinese came out in the second half looking like a different team. After only 1 shot in the first half, they had 8 in the second half, with 7 on target. But the game looked as though it were destined for a draw until Luis Muriel got by the West Ham defense and rifled a shot into the lower corner in the 90th minute to give Udinese a 2-1 victory.
Good game CxMacx10 and good luck moving forward

Bordeaux Finish Out On Top In Entertaining Opener
The Serie A season started out with some excitement early on for Bordeaux. Hannover came into the game with a draw earlier in the week against Anzhi and were looking to earn their first victory. In the first half, Hannover appeared to be on the attack more often, but stingy D from Bordeaux forced tough shots. It helped having Carrasso in net, who Coach Bronc commented on post-game by saying, "I almost forgot it wasn't Tim Wiese in net with that display." Just before the end of the half, controversy arose. Huszti was able to gather the ball in the box, and after colliding with Maurice-Belay, went down to the ground. The ref called for the PK immediately, despite Bordeaux's coaches and players accusing the Hungarian Huszti of diving. Huszti took his own PK, but the shot was parried away by Carrasso, resulting in a 0-0 scoreline at the half. Minutes into the second half, Obraniak fought for a ball in the box and eventually got a shot off to finally put Bordeaux on the board. The result was looking strong, but after the 70-minute mark, Hannover started to threaten on the attack. Carrasso made one beautiful save, but Ya Konan finally broke down the defense with a screamer goal. With impressive defensive performances, it looked as if 1-1 might just be the final. But Ludovic Obraniak had other thoughts on his mind, again coming through when needed with his second goal of the match in the 76th minute. Bordeaux finished out the match with strong defense and the final whistle blew with the score remaining 2-1. Despite the win though, Bordeaux's coach made sure to emphasize to his players that this match will all be for naught if they are unable to secure more points later in the week.

Sunderland opens up Season 7 with a Win on the road in Italy. In a highly tactical match with precise passing- Sunderland were able to pull a win @ Udinese. The Italians open up the scoring in the 6th minute with a diving header from Muriel but Sunderlands answers quickly when Sessegnon shot hits the post and rebounds to S. Fletcher for the equalizer. Fletcher strikes again three minutes later to give the English side trhe lead. Udinese equalizes at 2-2, before A. Johnson finds L. Saha in front of goal for the go ahead score. A. Johnson puts the match out of reach as S. Fletcher finds him streaking towards goal to give the visiting side a 4-2 cushion and all three points in Italy.

i'd love sessegnon to get it for fantasy purposes...but i think we determined that its not guaranteed player ratings and motm is not always going to be the same for both players...in which case we can only go by what the reporting team has.

its an issue with EA, i have no idea how they can't get player ratings the same for both players when they're playing the same game...but they can't

One of the craziest games of Fifa I have ever played. West Ham steals a point and a draw despite dominating in chances. The "finishing bug" seems to have bit West Ham as they had many chances to win this game but was continuously denied. Swansea scored early with a beautiful finish in the box from an odd angle. Jarvis answered with an odd angled goal of his own to tie it at 1. Swansea went up 2-1 on a brilliant free kick, then took a 3-1 lead in the 64' but a red card followed on a scramble in the box in the 69 (missed pk by Benayoun). West Ham was able to score two late to equalize but had several chances to win it.
