    22-0

First quarter was a feeling out process for a team that has so much chemistry, but coming off their second world championship their minds must have been thinking about everything else but the game. Dozeir finally got something going, hitting Andre for a good 20+ yard gain and then a beautiful throw and catch by Baldwin put the Texans up 7-0. The rest of the game Dyjuan would struggle and they would lose Baldwin for 11 weeks due to a broken collarbone. Ja'Mario Moon moves up to #2 and Braylon Edwards will move to #3 while TE and 5th WR Hopkins and SanGiacamo will split the 4th slot. Rookie Spencer Hargrett started off his career 0/5 but completed his 6th pass to Andre Johnson for 52 yards. Jon Beason patrolled on defense collecting 10 total tackles, 6 solo, sack and a INT. Rookie Sammy Morris picked off his first pass and forced a fumble on special teams.

The Texans host NeuroticTruth and the Chargers next week.

Falcons Pick Up 1st Win Under New Management
    Destroy Tampa Bay 32-3
    [IMG]
Despite the new ownership, the Falcons have talent capable of making some noise this year and they got off on the right foot in Atlanta with a dominating defensive performance against the Buccaneers. The Falcons got the ball first and drove down the field but settled for a FG. Then on TB's first offensive play, RB Darqueze Pearson fumbled the ball and it was recovered by the Falcons. A few plays later, Atlanta was adding to their point total behind a TD run from Rashard Mendenhall to make it 10-0 early. The Bucs' next possession wasn't much better as they were shut down and went 3-n-out. The Falcons decided to go for the jugular and went deep the Julio Jones for a TD pass and a 17-0 1st quarter lead.
From there, the Falcons were looking to cruise while still shutting down the Bucs' offense. Atlanta would add another 15 points and get to push it out to a 32-0 lead but Tampa Bay would avoid the shutout by scoring a FG in the 4th quarter. The Falcons' defense was so dominant that they held the Bucs to just 82 yards of offense.

49ers Hang On for 23-27 Victory in Season Opener
The 49ers went out quick to a 17-0 lead and held on for the 6 point win in the face of a relentless charge by the Seahawks in the game's closing minutes. In a game dominated offensively by the Seahawks, the 49ers rode their tough D and 5 interceptions in route to the win. The last interception was hauled in by Chris Culliver in the 49ers endzone with just 4 ticks left on the clock. Until that point, it looked as if the Seahawks were about to get their first lead and snatch a win.
