The New York Jets escape Buffalo with a 38-28 victory. New York completed the football equivalent of the cycle, scoring a passing, rushing, defensive and special teams td in the game. Hb Octvious Hardy lead the Jets with 98 yds on the ground while rookie HB James added 50yds and a score. The defensive was lead by new addition MLB Bensley Taylor who had 6 tackles on the day. The win gives The Jets 3 on the young season with an early season rematch with the Dolphins next week.

The Giants and Lions battled back and forth throughout the entirety, but the Giants prevailed in the end on a FG as time expired. The winning 2 points came off of a blocked punt that went out of the back of the endzone, resulting in a safety for the Giants.
Next up for the Giants is a meeting on the road against division rival Washington.

    The Falcons Continue to Roll
Move To A Surprising 3-0 After 23-14 Win Over Seahawks

After a dominant 2-0 start where Atlanta had allowed just 6 total points, the experts still weren't convinced and provided some bulletin board material for the Falcons. It was a tight and hard fought game but the Falcons jumped out to an early lead in the 1st quarter behind an amazing play by Julio Jones. QB Cejay Kennedy found Jones all alone about 20-30 yards down the field. A spin and a few missed tackles later, Jones was gone for a 7-0 lead. After a turnover for Seattle, the Falcons were back in scoring position and came away with a FG and a 10-0 lead. The Seahawks would put a drive together on their next possession and QB AC Jackson would hit TE Patterson through tight coverage for a 28 yard TD pass closing it to 10-7. Atlanta would get back into the red zone with under 2 minutes remaining but ended up settling for another FG with no time remaining making it 13-7.
The Seahawks came out determined in the 2nd half and shut down the Falcons' offense for most of the 3rd quarter. They were also able to put together another TD drive and took the lead 14-13 behind an Anthony Dixon run. Atlanta's offense started to find it's grove some again after that and would get their 3rd FG of the game at the start of the 4th quarter to make it 16-14. The Falcons would take control of the rest of the game though and the Seahawks just couldn't do anything. The Falcons also got it back together on offense and would score a TD on a long and time consuming drive late in the 4th to push it to 23-14.
