    JETS SURVIVE THE PESKY BILLS
    [IMG]
New Meadowlands- In a rain drenched, defensive battle, the New York Jets were able to hold on to get a 20-17 win over a good Buffalo team. Neither team could do squat on offense as WR's were falling down every play and QB's were overthrowing potential receivers by 10yds or better. The running games were just as ineffective for both teams as they both combined for 150yds combined. A bright spot for the Jets however would have to be the play of their secondary. Missing in action pretty much all season thus far, the New York secondary forced 3 ints (2 from Kemnavus Chow) which set up the only 2 td's of the game for the Jets. Comments from Forever- "We were just happy to get the win. That team is well coached and their players get after it each and every play. A few times, they were just unblockable!" The win gives The Jets a 5 - 0 record on the young season with the Arizona Cardinals coming to town next week!

the chiefs lost 42-28 to rival raiders, jordan was 11/26 for 407 passing yards and 4 touchdown passes with 3 ints. Coach said what a game , we had chances either catch up to tie , ints caught up with us . Tylar roberts got arrohwead excited with 2 tds from jordan also had 2 recs for 113 yards. Coach said man hes fast , he ran by those corners and safetys and whoever esle in secs. the defense needs be better , giving up 100 yards rushing seem easy but it wasnt as Frederick had 25 carries in the game for the raiders. gg drunken

Broncos Overcome Early Turnovers, Beat Saints Late
    Broncos 35 - Saints 31
The Broncos started this game off about as bad as a team can start...Their defense allowed a long TD pass to open up the game on a McCoy to Glover 40 yard TD pass. Then, on the Broncos 1st 5 possessions, they would turn the ball over. On their first play, Moreno ran for 12 yards but fumbled, then Evans threw an INT, then Evans would fumble and throw 2 more INT's. McCoy hit Robinson for a 15 yard TD pass and Crayton on a 39 yard TD pass in the meanwhile. The lone bright spot for the Broncos was an INT on the goalline after their 5th turnover to keep the score at 21-0 midway through the 2nd quarter. After a 10 yard pass from Evans to Monroe put the Broncos on the board with 1:14 left in the half, they would force a Saints punt, then Evans threw a pass to Thomas and the defender misplayed the pass, leading to an easy 80 yard TD catch and run. It would be 21-14 at the half in favor of the Saints.
In the 2nd half, the Broncos would take the kick and drive down to the Saints redzone, when Robinson ran it in from 11 yard out to tie the score at 21, which is where the game stood heading into the 4th quarter. At the end of the 3rd quarter, the Saints were driving, but were sacked on 3rd down to force a FG. On the first play of the 4th, Hartley nailed a 53 yarder to put the Saints up by 3. The Broncos next drive stalled around midfield, and the Coach decided to go for it on 4th and inches. The Broncos would get the 1st down, and on 1st down, Evans hit Monroe on a deep bomb for a 52 yard TD pass giving the Broncos their first lead of the game at 28-24 with 6 and change left in the game. The lead was short-lived, however, as McCoy hit Tamme and the Broncos defense seemed to fall down, so Tamme ran it in for an 80 yard TD catch putting the Saints back up, 31-28. The Broncos took their time getting downfield, then just after the 2 minute warning, Moreno would punch it into the endzone from 2 yards out. On the Saints last drive, the seemed to hit every 3rd and long and got down into the Broncos redzone as time was running down. With 2 timeouts left and just under a minute to go, the Saints tried running the ball from the Broncos 9, but were stuffed. They then ran hurry up and Colt McCoy's pass was batted down in the endzone. On the next play, McCoy tried to scramble, but was sacked with 20 seconds left to bring up 4th and goal from the Broncos 13. Instead of calling a timeout, the Saints ran hurry up again, and McCoy would scramble to his right, but eventually be sacked as time expired. I have no clue why they wouldn't call a timeout down there, but that's what happened and the Broncos escaped a disastrous start and move to 3-1 on the year.
    Evans - 17/22 for 372 yards 3 TD's and 3 INT's
    Moreno - 24 for 117 and a TD
Schwertner and Hardaway each had 2 sacks
    McCoy - 19/30 for 352 yards 4 TD's and 1 INT
