Eagles Defense great in win over Giants
This game started on the rough side for both teams with each team having to punt on their first drives. Giants would get the 1st score in the game to take a 7-0 lead into the 2nd quarter. The Giants would kick a FG to take a 10-0 lead with 7 minutes in the quarter. This is where the Eagles would make a run, first with Matt Ryan leading the Eagles down to the goal line and scoring to cut the lead to 10-7. Then on the Giants next drive, DB Nnamdi Asomigha would get a pick and score to take the lead 14-10. After another turnover, HB Delone Carter would score to push the lead 21-10. Then to end the half, WR Khyrie Bennet would score to take a 28-10 lead into half time. The Giants only score would come in the 3rd, with the Eagles winning 48-17. Leading the way for the Eagles was QB Matt Ryan, 17/24, 238 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT. He would also have 2 rushing TDs. HB Delone Carter had 162 yds on 25 carries and 2 TDs. WR Muhammed Massaqui had 5 REC for 91 yds. On defense, the Eagles would hold the Giants to 39 yards rushing and had 5 INTs. Leading the way on defense was OLB Evander Holloway with 5 tackles and 2 sacks and DT Julius Washington 4 tackles, 3 sacks. For the Giants, WR Jordan Shipley had 5 REC for 163 yds, and a TD, and rookie MLB JJ Glashen had 7 tackles and 1 sack.

Broncos Strong 2nd Half Leads Them Past Browns

There wasn't much going on in the 1st half of this game, the Broncos got a FG midway thru the 2nd quarter to put them up 3-0. Then the Browns drove down the field, scoring on a TD pass from McGrath to Williams with 36 seconds left to put them up 7-3. But the Broncos would get to midfield quickly, then slowed, and on a 4th and short from their own 46, the Broncos would try for a hail mary with 3 seconds to go. The pass went up, got tipped, then Steve Smith dove and caught the ball in the end zone to give the Broncos the lead 10-7 at the half.
The Broncos took the opening kick of the 2nd half and sustained a long drive down the field before Evans found Pettigrew from 15 yards out to extend the lead to 17-7. On the Browns next possession, Pettway fumbled and the Broncos recovered, giving them the ball deep in Browns territory. On the next play, Evans hit Earlzo Monroe for a 22 yard TD pass to make it 24-7. Before the 3rd quarter ended, the Brown would kick a FG to make it 24-10. In the 4th quarter, Evans hit Thomas, who then broke a tackle and ran past everyone else for a 34 yard TD. Only a few plays later, McGrath was drilled and threw a pick, giving the Broncos the ball again. After about 7 running plays, the Broncos were at the Brown's 5, but Moreno was exhausted, so they gave it to Mughelli who rushed it in for a TD, making the score 38-10 with just over 2 and a half to play. Browns backup QB Nelson, finished the game strong, going 9/12 and got a TD pass with 12 seconds left to make the score look a little better even though it was out of reach.

    Evans - 16/22 for 247 yards and 4 TD's
    Moreno - 25 for 85 yards 1 fumble lost
Asaad Harris had a fumble recovery and an INT.

    The Falcons Showoff Their Potential
    Demolish The Chiefs 59-10
    [IMG]
The game started off horribly for the Chiefs as, after receiving the ball to start the game, QB Darveon Jordan would throw an INT on their very first play. A few plays later, the Falcons were in the end zone to take the lead and would never look back. Two big offensive plays later in the 1st quarter would see the Falcons push it to a 21-0 lead. In the 2nd quarter, the Chiefs would force the Falcons to punt for the first time but Atlanta would pin them inside their 5 yard line. On their first play of the series, the Chiefs would get hit for a loss and put back on their 1 yard line. On their next play though, QB Jordan would hit WR Rommell Jenkins over the middle on a quick pass. Jenkins would break a tackle and then he was gone 99 yards for a TD to close it to 21-7. The Falcons answered quickly with a long run from RB Rashard Mendenhall to make it 28-7 and then the Chiefs were back on the field. Kansas City would put together a very nice drive but would force a pass into tight coverage that would get intercepted on the Falcons' 2 yard line. SS Takoby McAlister would return it 98 yards for a TD.
After getting up 42-7 at the half, the Falcons would play a ball control 2nd half and just look to cruise to the victory and their 6th win of the season.
