Broncos Win at End of Regulation, Move to 7-1Broncos 24 - Chargers 21
This looked like it might be a blowout early, as on the 1st play from scrimmage, Evans hit Thomas on a 10 yard curl, the DB missed the tackle and Thomas ran for an 80 yard TD, then after forcing a Chargers punt, Moreno ran for a 72 yard TD to put the Broncos up 14-0 early. But the Chargers would battle back in this one as they would get a TD in the 2nd quarter on a pass from Boone to Butler to make it 14-7 at the half. The 3rd quarter was a bit dry as there was only 1 score and that was a FG by SD to make it 14-10 going into the 4th. In the 4th, the Broncos added a TD from Evans to Pettigrew to make it 21-10 with 8 minutes to play in the 4th. In the last 2:50 of this game, there would be 3 scores. First, the Chargers got a FG to bring it to within 8. They Chargers then shut down the Broncos to get the ball back with a chance to tie. With 37 seconds remaining, CJ2K ran it into the endzone from 1 yard out to bring them to within 2. The Chargers got the 2pt conversion to tie it up, but they left the Broncos with too much time as they drove down the field, and kicked a 51 yard FG to win it as time expired.
Evans - 10/19 231 yards, 2 TD's 3 INT's
Moreno - 14 for 175 yards 1 TD
Pettigrew - 5 for 101 yards 1 TD
Boone - 19/28 191 yards 1 TD
CJ2K - 22 for 106 yards 1 TD
Young - 5 for 55 yards

Last Man StandingFalcons Beat Raiders 31-28 In Battle of the Last Unbeaten Teams The 8-0 Oakland Raiders traveled to Atlanta this week to face the 7-0 Falcons. Coming into this game, these were the top 2 scoring teams in NFL, the top 2 teams in turnover differential, and both were in the top 10 for their defense. It was sure to be a close game throughout and it delivered. However, despite the Raiders getting the ball first, the Falcons would strike first and never trail in the game. After forcing a punt, the Falcons and RB Rashard Mendenhall would break loose and run 71 yards for the first points of the game. The Raiders responded quickly though as QB Chandler Jones would find WR Denarius Moore deep down the middle of the field for a TD to tie the game. The Falcons returned in kind though as QB Cejay Kennedy found WR Julio Jones deep on their next possession for their 2nd TD of the game to make it 14-7 in the 1st quarter. After that, things would start to slow down. Each team was looking to establish their offense while the defenses tried to find some composure. That would list until midway through the 2nd when the Falcons were pinned deep. Kennedy would find Jones again, this time on a hook, and Jones would break a tackle and go 95 yards for a 21-7 lead in the 2nd quarter. But like clockwork, the Raiders would turn it on and get down the field quickly. QB Jones would end up scrambling 20 yards for a TD to make it 21-14. The Falcons would get another shot to score before the half but Kennedy would throw his 3rd INT of the season into the end zone while in FG position. The Falcons would get the ball to start the 2nd half but it would be the Raiders to open the scoring in this half. About midway through the 3rd, the Raiders would get a 33 yard TD pass to Jacoby Ford to tie the game at 21. On the Falcons next possession though, they wouldn't leave it tied for long. Cejay Kennedy would recognize a heavy blitz coming from the Raiders would audible to quick slants. Kennedy would hit WR Randall Cobb and he would take it 62 yards to the house to take back the lead and make it 28-21. And on the Falcons next possession, the Falcons would push the lead out to 10 behind a 55 yard FG. The Raiders would put together a long TD drive and make it 31-28 with 4 minutes left. The Falcons would try to run out the clock but the Raiders would get another possession inside of 2 minutes. The Falcons defense would stand tough though and force a turnover on downs without letting the Raiders into FG position.
