Zikry does a great job of this. But I wanted to get a head start and use this more for discussion rather than clog up what he uses to get the job done in a timely matter. Who are the best 4* teams you think are available before the draft?

Here we go.... And of course when I start this my intern shows up looking for assignments. :) Maybe I should make her research this!

IF someone would like to get a list started for the 4 star teams that would be great...I could then go off that list and make a "final" one once we are about to start the draft.

Not sure about a top 5 or anything but I do remember seeing Lyon was down to a 4 star team.....oh my

    Isn't it too early ? :)
Just saying! The star ratings keep changing! Some teams have already been bumped to 4.5* , so I say we need to wait on this , and don't give any hopes to anyone!

Sorry... you can have your opinion but if anyone has the time I'd love to see a list for us to chat on. Come on BESHIKTAS you know how much I love senseless prattle. Hell my podcast every week is based on it.

I'm on it ;) like Beshiktas said though the teams will most likely change by the start of Season 9. Plus I am doing all the leg work for the lazy ones here who will then take my sleeper team b/c Aubameyang is being transferred to Newcastle in the summer window.

What list will we be using? The "seasons" roster, or the "downloaded roster" from the customize FIFA option?

I looked up all the teams under the EAS Match Day tab. So some teams had players in form and other teams the forms weren't affected. My rosters are currently all updated with the downloaded rosters, thats what I used when making the list.

Matchday is no good, that includes form updates, which we do not use. Seasons is the best bet

While I agree, the transfer window (or most if them) are shut, so there shouldn't be as much fluctuation.

How do we handle an example where a team may appear 4-star, but has several good players in the reserves that, when added to the roster, push them to 4.5 star?

It may not change, but just to be sure the player ratings are accurately reflected

Before CSKA signed vagner love, Doumbia was in the reserves due to his injury and they were 4 star even after he was moved to the starting 11 along with other guys like Gonzalez.

I think the star rating is based on the # of higher rated players per team rather than whether or not they are in the reserves.

yea i think shiftee's correct here- I'm pretty sure they take into account the entire team and not just starting XI/bench only for * ratings
