Hey guys, we got some bad news over the weekend as one of our members Anthrax78 passed unexpectedly on Friday. It's just terrible news as he was a great member and even greater guy in general. He is survived by his wife and daughter. This one was some shocking news to receive, prayers go out to his family. gtstang86 BrewBomber JSimms Ben Huh Blaza Matrix Monkey SFRANGER6969 T.B.A.R. publik drunk Raidernation HotRod kdpnutter Sgt Jowers The Rulah Hitmhrd72 tannerwooten kcstlmang wafflehouse83 Butcher Black CWT 3000 Snozberriez8198 LSUTRUTH charter04 Mogriffjr RobbyB34 bjbdahitman Kidofcrash23 1ke
I wondered why he had not been on for a while. I'm sorry to hear about this. Cool guy and great gaming buddy.
Does someone here know his family? It'd be really cool to make a TSO donation or order them some food or something. RIP Anthrax.
Terrible news. Solid guy and fun to play against. Any idea how it happened? Drifterbub or Shaun Mason if we put together a collection is there a way to get the money to his family?

After some stalking, i was able to find his obituary page, i believe it is him, matches his name, age, has a wife/daughter, and perhaps the day he passed away. Ill just post it. http://obits.mlive.com/obituaries/grandrapids/obituary.aspx?pid=167760398
Marty was my boy, my NFC North foe in TLY. We played each other close to 12 times in Madden over the past 18 months, and had gotten to a point where we text each other often. When his wife text me this past weekend saying he had suddenly passed away, I was crushed. For those that knew him personally, he was truly a genuine, sincere individual and very much a family man. We had talked about getting together, since he worked at Mizzou and I lived just a few hours from him in Kansas City, but sadly we never did get a chance to hook up. 35 years old...way too young. All donations should go to a fund they've set up for the family, which can be found at the link posted by KidofCrash above. TSO lost a great member on Friday...
We come here as strangers and forge friendships in the fire of competition. Truthfully, I personally didn't interact with Anthrax78 much on the site but I know how my heart would feel today if instead of him it was one of the members I count as a friend. On 10.25.13 TSO lost a friend. In memory, I would encourage everyone to drop by the online guestbook HERE and say a few words. For those inclined to help out his family, you can send donations here:
Wow. Never knew him but losing someone is never easy. Will sign the guestbook tomorrow. Godspeed to his family!
I too lost a good friend of mine unexpectedly these last few days. There is no combination of words to describe how it feels to lose someone who was so healthy, friendly, and who meant so much to so many people. My heart goes out to Anthrax's family, and to all of you on TSO. Hopefully they have found the peace we all seek, and are smiling on us through eternity.
