(AP) Irving, TX - The Saints came into Dallas to play a Dallas team who would be without their star QB Tony Romo. That however did not make this a less competitive game early on. Both defenses were playing outstanding. Both teams would trade TD scores as we were tied 7-7 early but the Saints would make their move after the half. Orton would be picked off 3 times in the 3rd Qtr 1 which was returned for a TD by Malcolm Jenkins and the Saints would work in Dallas territory scoring 20 points off turnovers to go up 31-7 early in the 4th Qtr. The Cowboys would respond however as their offense finally started clicking against the Saints just trying to prevent any big plays. Miles Austin and Dez Bryant would catch late TD's to make it 34-21 but that is how the game would win as the Saints clinch the NFC South division championship.
The Saints will now host the Panthers in week 17 where they may look to rest key starters.
