It started out shaky for the visiting Saints as Brandin Cooks would fumble the opening kickoff and Atlanta recovered. The Saints D, however; stayed buckled down all day long and held the Falcons to their only points of the game, a field goal. From there the Saints offense would take control led by RB Mark Ingram. Ingram seemingly had his way with the Falcons defense and amassed nearly 150 yards on the day with 2 scores. A key play came right before halftime as SS Vinny Sunseri would get an INT and help setup the Saints offense for another TD right before half. The Saints led 20-3 at the break and never looked back. Ex-Falcon RB Jacquizz Rodgers would close the game out with a nice 40+ yard TD run halfway thru the 4th. Final score in this one would be 34-3 Saints. The Saints have a crucial matchup against the Buccaneers in week 14. A win would give the Saints the NFC South crown, their 3rd in 5 seasons. A loss and this division will once again come down to the final week or two with these two teams battling it out for the crown.
