As we begin week 5, I figured it was time to start seeing how the coaches were fairing and what coaches are on the hot seat.

    Saturday Heroes

    Highest Rated

    Coach Cimahosky

    Job Security: 56%

Despite a 1-2 record, Coach Cimahosky finds himself with the best security of the SH coaches. After the opening whomping by Texas, Rice has defensively stepped up and done a solid job defensively against their opponents. With the C-USA schedule coming up, Coach Cimahosky will be tested.

    Coach Rembert

    Job Security: 53%

Coach Rembert may be having the best success among the coaches, but he hasn't been really challenged like the others. With one victory being a sim win, the EA computers may have actually taken that into consideration.

    Coach Radio

    Job Security: 49%

Another coach who has been plagued with bad luck, Coach Radio finds himself clinging on to his contract better than most of the majority. He has had some terrible luck in games, but has a path that could be easier traveled in front of him.

    Coaches on the Hot Seat

    Coach Deericks

    Job Security: 42%

Coach Deericks missed a good portion of his games due to other interests, but the loss to Army really hurt this program. Coming into the season, many believed this offensive unit could be one of the best in the country. They have some work to do.

    Coach Green
    Job Security: 41%

Coach Green needs to turn the UNT offense around. A winless record really hurts a coaches reputation, no matter his performance. Mean Green is turning into the name of the programs mascot, to the name of the OC's new coaching persona.

    Coach Taylor

    Job Security: 40%

A bit of a surprise here, but Coach Taylor is the SH coach on the biggest Hot Seat this early. Despite a thumping of Idaho (44-10) two losses to in-state rival Cal and Rice does not make the fan base happy. Being in a state that is populated with talent, the expectations are high for Coach Tracy and losing to a neighbor does not make things easier.

Out of curiosity, does anyone think that maybe we should consider a 48 hour hard advance? I may be in the minority, but I would really like to speed up a little. I want to be able to get full use out of the coaching carousel and the more seasons we get in the better!

Not trying to be a dick!

I think everyone knows my feelings. Ive always been a believer that the more seasons we get in the better, and now even more with coaching carousel. At this point we are all OC/DC so usually it takes 30 mins to play a game. Not tryin to be a dick either here...

Looking at the rest of the NCAA, one thing is for certain, TCU is having issues with their coaching staff. OC Jarrett Anderson (32%), DC Dick Bumpass (38%), and HC Gary Patterson (49%) are all under scrutiny. If the Horned Frogs do not turn the season around, they could be seeing a new coaching staff for next season.

Awesome stuff Cimmy. I think TCU would be a job that a lot of folks might bolt for after the season, if given the opportunity. That's a good destination job.

Where in the Hell are the rules on taking new jobs and breaking contracts. I remember reading them but cant find them.

Damn the Army Alumni! Don't they realize that the option is broken until EA releases patch #2.
