    What's the easiest way to grab pictures from the DW and be able to post them here?

    Hit control and print screen
    Go to paint, paste.

    Edit however you want and then crop. Save and upload to photobucket.

    I print screen, paste into Paint.NET, modify as desired, then upload them via the "Upload File" button on the forums.

    Thanks guys!

    So we still have to upload them somewhere though. Any chance we could get a screen capture tool in the messages options in the future? It'd be pretty slick if I could just a button in the message header, select what I want captured and then it would just load the picture here. It'd be especially slick with DW.

    This is how I do it. I think if you're on vista or windows 7, the print screen button doesn't work. 7 and Vista both come with the windows snipping tool and it works beautifully and I use it all the time (all of the screen shots you've seen me post in here GoGators were taken with the snipping tool).

    Not sure how we could make that happen...since screen shot happen at the system level and browsers are sandboxed away from that.

    The only thing I can reference is at work we have a messenger program, think AIM, but just internally for us. One of the tools in the dialogue box enables me to capture part of the screen I select (it can be anything on my screen, excel, pdf, internet, picture, etc.) and it will paste it into the message and I can send it to the person I'm messaging. No uploading or saving. Just copy, paste, and send.

    Sure, because that application is a native desktop application, hence it has access to the operating system. This forum is web based.

    Also, can you not just save the image from the web to your local computer?

    Yeah I can do that but the cropping, uploading, getting the link etc. takes time.....I don't have a lot of spare time in my day right now to do that. I was just wondering if there was an easier way.

    @GoGators
    I just right click the photo..and select copy image address. Then when you go to post here hit the insert/edit image button and paste the address to embed the photo.

    Snagit is probably the better screen capture utility. I paid $50 and it was well worth the investment for the amount of times I use this daily at work.

    Right. I know that.

    I'm asking more about if I wanted to grab a player's picture and info from the DW, like his profile including stats or recruiting attributes to post here.
