Thursday Night Football at it's best. When the Seahawks came into candlestick park to take on the Niners on their own turf, they came in with one goal in mind; Get after the QB and kill the head (obviously kidding).

The Seahawks defense once again kept them in the game, as Russell Wilson proved to be ineffective and lost at times, throwing 2 interceptions and no touchdowns. He did manage to take a QB draw up the middle for a touchdown, but he still was not able to put together a quality start. One can wonder how much longer the Seahawks brass can tolerate their inept QB situation.

2nd year WR Ricardo Lockette drew his first first start of the season and hauled in 4 catches for 58 yards. However it was the defense that won the show on this day, intercepting Alex Smith 5 times, including a late 4th quarter pick-6 from Marcus Trufant that would put the Hawks up 24-17. That would be the difference, as the Hawks took care of business and put the 49ers away and move on to 5-2.

Keep a close eye out on the Seahawks QB situation around the trade block.
