Coach HoodIII was ready to get back to business after a couple of shaky sim weeks that he could put behind the team and move forward on staying in the playoff hunt. The Hawks did that and more by providing a dominate defensive performance by the front four who had 3 sacks and constant pressure on Matt Schaub all day causing 1 forced fumble and 3 interception with one being returned for a TD by young middle LB Bobby Wagner who keeps getting better week after week. You complement good defense with a great run game is a formula for success with Seattles top 2 RB backs Lynch and Turbin having a 52 and 35 yd TD runs right at the heart of the Browns defense. Marshawn Lynch had a really productive day with 22car /124 yds 2TD's to pace the offense with Russell Wilson only have to throw the ball 11 times completing 10 to keep things steady on the offensive end. Miscues by the Browns receivers ruined any chance of a comeback with big drops coming one after another that could have turned into big plays.

    GG Jim until next time
