[SEATTLE, WA] The Seahawks (1-2) welcomed the division leading 49ers (3-0) to CenturyLink Field in week 4. The teams had met just three weeks prior on opening day and the Seahawks were looking to vindicate themselves in the week 4 rematch. The Seahawks did just that as WR Torrey Smith led the offense and CB Devin McCourty led the defense in the 32-14 win; bringing the Seahawks record back to .500 on the season and 1-1 in the division. The two teams have split on the season which will certainly have implications in determining the NFC West champion at the end of the season.

Good game, Lawon. Feels strange having both our games in this early in the season. Good luck with the rest of your season!

    HIGHLIGHTS:

The 49ers received the opening kickoff. On 3rd down and 8 from the 49ers 25 yard line, CB Justin Gilbert intercepts Kaepernick's pass intended for Crabtree on the 49ers first drive setting up the Seahawks with great field position.

Mark Morgan connects with Jontae Browning over the middle for a 10 yard TD reception to put the Seahawks up 7-0.

Morgan and the Seahawks offense struck again in the first quarter; this time on a 61 yard bomb to Torrey Smith to give the Seahawks an early 14-0 lead.

On a 4th and inches situation at mid-field early in the 2nd quarter, the 49ers attempted some trickery. However, the fake punt attempt was thwarted by the Seahawks special teams unit.

On the ensuing drive following the failed fake punt, Morgan would force a pass to Gronkowski which was (user) read all the way by Patrick Willis who took the pick six 61 yards to pay dirt; cutting the Seahawks lead to 14-7.

The Seahawks put FG on the board to give them a 17-7 second quarter lead. The 49ers would answer with a scoring drive of their own capped off with a 3 yard TD reception by Vernon Davis on a goalline drag; making the score 17-14.

Despite only having 21 seconds remaining in the first half, the Seahawks weren't finished. Morgan would connect with Smith on a deep ball once again; this time on a Hail Mary pass 57 yards to set up the offense with a 31 yard FG to close the half and head to the locker room with a 20-14 lead.

The Seahawks had the ball again to open the second half. Taking the opening drive across midfield, the Seahawks coach decided to go for it on 4th and inches from the 41 yard line. Turbin took it up the middle and gained just enough to move the chains and give the Seahawks a new set of downs.

Despite the Seahawks successful 4th down conversion, the 49ers defense would hold as Willis came up with his second INT on the day, this time at the goalline preventing the Seahawks Red Zone offense from taking a double-digit lead.

Following a 49ers punt, the Seahawks offense was at it again. Morgan would connect with Smith for his second TD reception, this time from 51 yards, putting the Seahawks ahead 26-14 following a failed 2-point conversion.

Devin McCourty and the Seahawks defense took over thereafter as Kaepernick turned the ball over in the third quarter...

...And again in the fourth quarter. The Seahawks closed out the game on the ground securing the 32-14 win.
