Game 2 of the Peyton Manning era in Seattle got off to a very shaky start. As usual, Peyton was very accurate with his throws. He completed his first 9 passes of the game, unfortunately 3 of them were to the other team. Opportunistic, the Jets were able cash in the 3 turnovers into 10 points right off the bat to take a 10-7 lead. That would be the last time they would lead in the game. The Seahawks proceeded to score 32 unanswered points in route to a 39-10 win over the Jets. Marshawn Lynch was bottled up for most of the game, but was able to break two lengthy runs, one that was taken 62 yards for the TD. 2nd Year WR Doug Baldwin also contributed his first 100 yard game of the year with 4 catches and 112 yards and a TD. The defense was stout again as usual, forcing 3 INTs, 3 fumbles, and allowing less than 200 total yards against the Jets. 2nd year CB Richard Sherman is putting on a clinic against teams with 7 INTs on the year, and rookie Bruce Irvin is beginning to make an impact by forcing fumbles and getting pressure on the QB. At 7-3, the Hawks head into their BYE week and will face off against Coach Doug and his Dophins next Wednesday.
