I had planned on doing this in the old file, but frankly I couldn't find any recruits with significant user battles going on before it became apparent we were on borrowed time.

But this file, we have some nice potential battles shaping up on the left coast, let's start with kid who had 6 teams on his "wish list", all of them Pac 12 user squads.

#14 DT Tyler Gray 6'2" 290lbs out of Mission Viejo, CA

Tyler is a "balanced" DT who looks like he has a nice skillset (prior to scouting), and he initially was looking at USC, Stanford, Cal, UCLA plus Washington and Oregon in the preseason. 2 weeks into the year and it looks like the hippy schools up north have already given up on the kid since he is being pursued pretty hard by the 4 CA user schools. Right now the University of Spoiled Children appears to have the inside track on his services, but with 4 users in the mix things could get very interesting.

    After Midnight

If anyone has any other recruits that appear to have some user battles brewing please pm me and I'll continue to follow their progress through the season.

I'm curious how long Cheez, recchem2000 and Jayrah battle it out with me for this kid. I don't really "need" a DT, but once I saw all 3 of them offer the kid a scholly I just had to get involved, if only to see if I can still crush some dreams on the recruiting trail now that I'm back home in SoCal. :D

I don't think I really need him either but I will be damned if I'm gonna let him go to USC!

Funny thing is I may not have even recruited him except all you guys offered to take him right away.

Recruiting is getting very interesting, as I have about 5 guys to schedule visits for this week. I love this new system where you really have to balance having a guy in early to chance getting a lucky signing vs having them in late and praying nobody gets a commit before your visit.

    Washtington vs Oregon @BringJimmyBack

    FS Dan Thomas:
Dead even at 43%, Washington 5 points behind before the scholarship offer so expect Washington to be infront week 5. Both teams have the same bonus which should not fluctuate.

I thought it would be worth like 50 points but I could be wrong.

I have a feeling it may be worth more, but I've never tried calculating it.

Dru, can we change the name of this to something like "after midnight recruiting battles"

A couple of Texas showdowns to keep an eye on and a couple more with Boise's offensive line future hanging in the balance.....

:4stars: ATH Troy Foster - SMU top on his board, Baylor closing in at 2nd.

:4stars: SS Kenny Anderson - Baylor top dog, SMU at third with 3 other CPU teams hard charging as well

:2stars: JUCO T Dan Meyers - Baylor and Boise in a dead heat

:3stars: G Henry Davis - Once more, Boise and Baylor battling it out

You or recchem2000 can change it. Pretty sure I don't have rights to.

An update on DT Tyler Gray. Tyler's list of suitors has been unofficially pared down to 3 - USC, UCLA and Cal. He is scheduled to visit UCLA in week 10 before visiting USC in week 11. Right now the race is still too close to call.

I have a feeling I'm going to lose out on both. I'm more concerned about Foster because I just see my lead dwindling each week and I'm unable to do anything about it. Plus, he would give me more leeway in regards to my needs.

I'm not entirely sure where he will end up playing...... If he can block I'd love to see him at TE. His OVR is lower than I expected, but he certainly has some line scores that are intriguing. Also, don't you have another SS who is 6'7" that you are targeting? I almost went after him too, but I don't want to commit to too many battles
