    Rivers
    Beal
    Lillard

The fact that every PG BBJ uses puts up 10+ assists (due to the style of offense he runs) makes Lillard's numbers seem less impressive to me. Beal was the most unstoppable rookie I played, but Rivers was the starting PG on the top team in the West, that does it for me.

Austin "A-Boogie" Rivers -- 20 and 7 a night for the West top team......
Damon Lilliard -- 10 dimes a night for a playoff team is impressive
MKG -- considering his skill set 16 a night is impressive....

honorable mention -- Bradley Beal... i think he scored in spite of his team at times....

Rivers - Focal point of the team offensively. Gets his buckets while still keeping teammates involved.
Lillard - I love a PG that can dish em, but I've seen BBKKK put up similar numbers with Nolan Smith.
MKG - Slash City. Gets to the cup and usually guarded the other teams best perimeter threat.

This is tough, i think all 4 deserve the award. Each has their own compelling campaign and as always with ROY awards, do you take into account who was the most valuable to their team? Who made things happen on a nightly basis? I normally like to go with who was the most electrifying rookie.

    1. Beal
    2. MKG
    3. Rivers

And if you'll allow me to campaign for a second, Beal should be the choice here. Yes, his team struggled all year. That wasn't really his fault. He was the only scoring option for the Wizards, and other teams came into games against Washington knowing that they had to stop Beal in order to win. In spite of that, he managed to score almost 27 points per game (about 10 more than either Lillard or MKG and 6 more than Rivers) while still shooting a better percentage from the field than Lillard and a similar percentage to Rivers. That should be especially impressive when you consider the fact that Beal was a jump shooter while Rivers was generally a slasher who scored a lot of dunks and layups. And (in case you're into that kind of thing), Beal put up 4.1 estimated wins added on the year. #2 among rookies was Rivers almost a full win back and Lillard was sub-3 wins added.

tl;dr: Vote for Beal or bad things will happen to you.

And since others were asking for actual stats:

    Beal: 26.4 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 2.1 APG
    Rivers: 20.2 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 7.5 APG
    Lillard: 17.3 PPG, 3.2 PPG, 9 APG
    MKG: 16.7 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 3.1 APG

Lillard- 2k's ROY. Lead rookies in Ast and Stl. and was a great scorer.
Rivers- most important player on best team.
Beal-best scorer, but didn't help the team win.

As we'll see in the MVP voting, what happened on the console won't matter in here.

Rivers: Helped lead his team to the best record in the West. Enough said.
Lillard: Solid numbers for a playoff team.
Beal: Yes, he put up big numbers. However, Raj said it himself. Beal was the only real scoring option, so of course he put up numbers. In the end, it comes down to W/L record and not making the playoffs.
