Everyone, from now on post game summaries here. I wanted to try something different with the blogs, but I feel it is really inconvenient and doesn't really get any views since it is located in a subforum. From now on, if you do a game summary post it here. Winning team should post some sort of summary after every game. Even if it is just a link to the twitch video, and a few key stats. Do it however you want, it can be as simple or in depth as you want.

SEAHAWKS TRACK DOWN AND KILL THE PANTHERS

Charlotte...AP.......The Seattle Seahawks went into Carolina and stomped the Panthers from the get go en route to a dominating 41-10 victory. Marshawn Lynch rushed for 195 yards and two TDs and the Seattle D stymied Cam Newton and picked him off 3 times. Russell Wilson was 14 for 21 for 231 yards and a TD as the game was decided early.

After two restarts, the third game was all Cleveland. A couple early scores including a pick six put Cleveland ahead early and the defense was locked in for the rest of the game. Manziel was a modest 11/20 for 150 yards and a TD. Joe Haden and Craig Robertson each had a pick, with Kruger forcing a fumble to go along with two sacks.

Good game Dreal5050 - sorry this happened after restarting twice haha.

    Cleveland 26
    Houston 17

Texans came back in this one, down by 20 at the start of the fourth. Manziel had arguably the worst game of his young career, throwing two picks on 21-30 passing and 220 yards (1 TD). Ben Tate picked up the slack and rumbled for 109 yards on 24 carries while adding a TD. Justin Blackmon led the receiving corps, with 68 yards on 5 catches and a TD.

Defensively Paul Kruger had 2 sacks, while Haden, Whitner, and Dansby each had an INT. Brandon Harris and Jonathan Joseph had the two picks for Houston.

Good game CamInMyMind1350 - hope we get to play again sometime.

    Browns 38
    Colts 17

Cleveland was rocking this week as the Browns threw down with Indy, and the home team was able to get the edge in this one. Cleveland overcame 2 fumbles and a pick to grind this one out- while the Browns nabbed one pick to try to help the cause.

Early on Cleveland had the Colts in check, but a late rally got Indy within 14. However, a recovered onside and a Darius Reynaud touchdown run would seal it for Cleveland. Ben Tate led the charge for the Browns, amassing 177 yards on 28 carries while adding a touchdown. Young Johnny Manziel outgunned Andrew Luck, going 17-22 for 224 and 3 scores, while Luck finished 15-24 for 215 and 2 TDs. Josh Gordon caught 2 of the Manziel tosses for scores.

The Browns defense was able to hold Indy to 250 total yards, at least half of which came int he 4th quarter.

    Good game Julius Young

    Raiders win in defensive battle
Raiders go on the road and pull out the win against division foe Kansas City 14-6. Not much was going on offensively as the both top ranked defenses would show why they are both in the top 5. The defense kept KC's offense at bay while the OC tried to find some offense. The Raiders were able to get a big play from WR Rod Streater who was able to beat the coverage for a long TD pass from Derek Carr late in the game. The league's number 2 defense will attempt to continue it's dominance next week against the Bills.

    Packers Win Final Game
    Packers - 37
    Lions - 28

Lions came into Green Bay hoping to take away the Packers' playoff hopes. Eddie Lacy kept the rushing attack going and is now leading the league in rushing. Lacy got his 21st TD on the year. Final 4 minutes of the game, up only 7, Packers were trying to run the clock down. Eddie Lacy fumbles around the 2 minute mark and gave the Lions an extra chance to tie it up. Packers D came up big and sacked Stafford once and then sacked him again for the safety effectively ending the game.

    Rodgers - 20/26, 260 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT
    Stafford - 24/29, 316 yards, 2 TDS, 1 INT

    Lacy - 22 car, 93 yards, 3 TDS
    Bell - 15 car, 53 yards, 2 TDS

    Johnson - 2 rec, 26 yards
    Ebron - 5 rec, 62 yards, 1 TD
    Nelson - 10 rec, 117 yards, 1 TD
    Lyerla - 4 rec, 84 yards, 1 TD

Vikings seal NFC North title with 38-24 victory over Bears

The Vikings offense eclipsed the 2,000 yard rushing mark as a team this year with big days from both Adrian Peterson and Jerick McKinnon, while also showing balance as Teddy Bridwater once again threw for 3 touchdowns. The win puts the Vikings on top of the division and should give them a first round by and at least one home game in the playoffs.

    Stats
    Vikings:

    Teddy Bridgewater - 17/21, 229 yards, 3 TD/0 INT
    Adrian Peterson - 19 carries, 150 yards, TD; 2 rec, 21 yards
    Jerick McKinnon - 5 carries, 34 yards
Greg Jennings - 5 rec, 102 yards, TD
    Jarius Wright - 2 rec, 43 yards, 2 TD
Chad Greenway - 2 tackles, 102 yard interception return for a TD
    Jabaal Sheard - INT
Captain Munnerlyn - 5 tackles, FF

    Bears
    Jay Cutler - 20/35, 420 yards, 3 TD/2 INT
    Matt Forte - 15 carries, 29 yards;4 rec, 26 yards
Brandon Marshall - 4 rec, 150 yards, TD
    Santonio Holmes - 4 rec, 72 yards
    Martellus Bennett - 2 rec, 37 yards, 2 TD
    Lance Briggs - 11 tackles, 3 TFL

gg guitarDADDY1208 , I could not do anything to slow down cutler, if it wasn't for that Greenway pick this one would have been all the way down to the wire

    Browns Win Super Bowl
    [IMG]
Johnny Manziel has delivered Cleveland to the promised land, leading the Browns to a huge Super Bowl win today. He wasn't super productive, but he took care of the ball and did everything he could to help the team win. He had 85 yards on 50% passing, but fellow rookie Bridgewater imploded to the tune of 18-40, 4 picks, one TD, while getting sacked 5 times.

Ben Tate led the offense with 115 yards on 28 carries, with a TD. Tate has been as steady a workhorse as any all year, going over 1600 yards on well over 300 carries.

There were a couple choices for MVP on the defensive side for Cleveland- Mingo with his 3 sacks, Haden with 2 picks, or Buster Skrine with his pick 6.

Either way, this Browns team showed the 15-1 regular season was no fluke, rolling through their three playoffs games by a combined score of 97-20.

Good game RyanC - it was just our year.
