    Napoli 2
    Villarreal 2

Lavezzi volleys in a cross at the 16th. Soft PK given to Napoli and Cavani puts it away in the 27th. Rossi dribbles into the box and beats De Sanctis to make it 2-1 Napoli. Borja Valero dribbles by defenders and takes it in on net for a goal in the 45th. 2-2 at half. Villarreal miss several chances to put the game away. De Sanctis made some big saves. A relentless Villarreal attack has to settle for a draw as Napoli clear the ball several times to save the point.

    Week 2 (Matchday Four)

    Lazio:

    Assists- Ledesma X 1

    Roma:

    :yellowcard: N. Burdisso (43')

Man of the Match: Christian Ledesma

Final Score: Lazio 1, Roma 0

Great game @kg2thez . This was a defensive struggle throughout and it could have very easily been a draw with a Roma shot off the post. Both defenses played spectacularly and the only difference was that you allowed Cisse a little too much space and he put away a beautiful finesse shot. Round one of the Rome Derby goes to Lazio.

    Valencia CF 2 - 1 LOSC Lille

    :goal: 44" Soldado (Jonas) [Val]
    :goal: 68" Jonas (Hernandez) [Val]
    :yellowcard: 75" Rami [Val]
    :goal: 75" Sow (Pen) [Lille]

    MOTM: Basa (Lille - 9.2); Hernandez (Val - 8.5)

Valencia CF finally got off the snide, scoring 2 goals against LOSC Lille home at the Mestalla.

Lille had an initial flurry early, but Valencia was on the attack most of the 1st half, finally capitalizing in the 44th minute with a Soldado goal from close range. After the half, it was more of the same, with newly anointed starter Jonas also getting on the scoring sheet after a nice inlet pass from RW Hernandez. The second goal ended up being much needed as LOSC Lille pressed into the Valencia half and coax a penalty out of CB Rami. Sow calmly tucked the ball past the diving arms of GK Alves.

But Valencia proved to be too much on this day for Lille to handle, eating out the clock to end the game.

With the win Valencia get their first three bit points of the season.

    Valencia:

Man of Match: Marchetti (Clean Sheet)

Final Score: Lazio 1, Valencia 0

Great game BlyGilmore . This one was pretty tense, both sides generated plenty of shots and thankfully the only one that went in was Cisse's header from the corner at the 38th minute. Pablo Hernandez was a force to be reckoned with and generated nearly every opportunity Valencia had. I could not contain him. Both teams began to get a little chippy in the 2nd half, and two players drew yellow cards. The Italians play tough football, but Valencia was up to the challenge here. We escape this one with a 1-0 victory. More details on the Lazio team page.
