Syracuse loses their first of the season, 24-17 against #1 ranked Alabama. The game was 21-3 at the half, and the Orange just kept clawing their way up the mountain, trying to even make it a game. They managed to get it to 24-17 with just under 2 mins to go, but could not stop Ingram for another chance at the ball. Great game JD, I look forward to Tuscaloosa next season.

Syracuse puts together a solid game on defense, finds a working passing offense, and wins their conference opener 35-25. The running game disappeard after the first drive, and QB Ryan Nassib went down for 4 weeks part way through the 3rd quarter, but Syracuse still managed to put up the W. These LB's that are here, Hogue and Smith, I am really going to miss them. Both are playmakers that are going to be impossible to replace.

Michigan State's defense is tough. I played them in my bowl game in SH, and they picked off Griffin 5 times.

Yeah they're D was tough but once I thought I had their offense shut down, they hit me with two HUGE passing touchdowns...I made a mistake getting greedy and going for the win with the 2pt conversion...I also couldn't get a first down late in the fourth which would have sealed the deal. But hey I learned from it...I'm def not taking anything away from that team. Their record doesn't describe them.

Northwestern loses 43-26 to Penn State. Had too many chances to beat them and couldn't get the job done. Mistakes, Mistakes, Mistakes!

Northwestern has always been an enigma. I like Dan Persa, even though he gouged the Hawkeyes last year.

    Arkansas wraps up season...with..a....LOSS..

Idk what it is about this team I can't figure out..it may be a blessing that Mallett is a senior and will be leaving. Arkansas brass may have to go to a different more conventional ground n pound attack.

Anyways, turnovers killed the Hogs in the fourth quarter. 1 int and 2 fumbles and LSU scored 20 unanswered points to break a 14-14 tie..

Florida State closes their regular season with 22-16 loss to rival Florida. Weird game with eight field goals between the two teams.

Syracuse played an incredible game with rival Boston College, but was edged out in the end 21-20. I had my chances, forcing 4 turnovers, but in the end, the conservative approach in the red zone cost me the game. I did not have confidence in my line to make the push on 4th and goal from the one, so I took the field goal and left it in the hands of the defense that had been coming up with plays all day. Well, they didn't on that drive. BC made their way down the field and won the game. Great game OG, look forward to next season at your place.

The 2010 National Championship game pitted undefeated Alabama vs undefeated TCU. The game was close in the first quarter with TCU and Bama trading touchdowns. Even at half time the game was in reach for TCU, with Bama leading 27-21. The TCU d-line wore down as the game went on though, and Bama was able to control the clock with their tremendous run game. Mark Ingram rolled for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns, the Doak Walker award winner likely rushing in his last game for the Crimson Tide as he is likely to leave for the NFL.
