The purpose of this thread will be to disscuss all things recruiting, as well as announce recruits that have committed to your school. Recruiting restrictions To keep things realistic there will be a limit to how many scholarships you will be able to give out each year. It is a simple equation (see below) A + B + 2= # of scholarships A = number of players on team - (minus) 70 B = # of seniors You will be given extra scholarships at the end of the season for any underclassmen that go pro or transfer away from your program. Remember players that transfer into your program count against your scholarship total for that year. Please post the # of scholarships you are allowed for the season in this thread
I'm in. Quick question, we can recruit a player in our pipeline even if they aren't green right? Also 2 + 12 = 14 scholarships for me!
2 + 15 = 17 Scholarships for Arizona ****Advice for everyone, Don't forget to disable the cpu from helping you recruit**** At a minimum you should disable them from offering scholarships so you dont go over your limit.
Florida Scholarships 69 players. 11 Seniors 12 Scholarships Also you should do the spreadsheet that Majesty has over in Extreme Makeover. That is very helpful.
Simply put are we allowed to recruit to the total of 72 players? If that is correct Washington has 17 scholarships available. Going to be long season recruiting 11 of 17 are needs.
I believe the roster limit is 70. In the offseason there is a "Cut Players" phase, where you will have to cut to 70.

I know the roster limit is 70, but most leagues I have been in that had recruiting limits and had a + # after it meant you could sign to that # above 70. Most people are posting +2 as part of their math, my interpretation of that means sign to 72 players. Thats why I ask. If it's sign players to get to a 70 man roster(max allowed in game), it should just say that. There would no need to be cuts if that were the case.
Are you talking about being locked out or hard commit? Hard commit is a no. Locked out is yes, if you have the ability.
The lockout ability is one of the characteristics in the recruiting skills of the HC, not sure if you need a minimum in the recruiting skills to get the skill. I do know if the player is on your board and locks you out before he gets to 100% in narrowing down his list it means you are poor in dealbreaker. Example Joe schmoe has playing style dealbreaker and you are C minus in playing style he will lock you out no matter where you are on his list. You could be first on his list and be locked out.
I just signed a 3 star Center. Not a great get but he was the best Center that I could get. 74 ovr JUCO player.
