Georgia has 13 seniors and 68 total players, which gives me 15 available scholarships.

18 seniors, 68 players on the roster, 20 available scholarships

    1. :4stars: WR Chris Jones out of Georgia. 47% scouted at 73 OVR. Should add depth and replace departing seniors on the roster.
    2. :4stars: DE Alex Thompson from Texas. 100% scouted at 72 OVR. This kid won't play right away but gives hope that "The Zou" will still ba able to bring the pressure in a couple years.
    3. :4stars: WR Marvin Cooper from New York. 95% scouted at 69 OVR. Coaches are excited about his speed (94) but he needs a couple seasons to work on his hands (57).
    4. :3stars: MLB Brad Chavez, an Ohio product. 70% scouted at 67 OVR. If given time to develop, his 91 acceleration could make him a force in opposing team's backfields.

    16 seniors + 2 open spots = 18 schollies

Nobody wants to come to Columbia except this idiot.

:4stars: #36 ATH Tony Clark 6'1 201 from Welcome, SC (gotta love the South)
    66 ovr?, B speed, 87 acc, 78 zone, C man, C tackle, 70 pursuit, C recognition
Looks like a safety to me. Probably SS.

LSU gets an instant commit from DT Brown who is a flat monster. Rated the #2 DT, the kid has great ratings across the board from scouts across the nation. In one high school game, he had 18 tackles, 8 for loss, 4 sacks, and 2 blocked kicks. Expect to see this kid get PT immediately. Coach Mexi will find a way to.

A&M picks up 4 commits in week 1! Marque Prater, the :4stars: :#2 rated Center of the class is big-time, but the Aggies are very young and seemingly very good for years to come on the O-line. James Walker from Delray Beach, FL is the #20 ranked MLB rated at :3stars: and is a big need fill for the Aggies. And then the other two are :3stars: qb Marcus Hayes and a :1stars: but seemingly talented fullback, Joe Robinson. The qbs are stacked young with 2 rs soph's and 2 rs Frosh.

Florida got the #1 CB :5stars: Dominique Williams in Week 1
They've moved some highly touted recruits down based on scouting however.
They are looking to replenish the WR Corps as well

I LOVE this scouting. It's going to open the door for teams to get players they've never gotten before. The players may not be as highly rated as others when it comes down to it, but with potential and stuff who knows. Regardless, it's only a "potential" rating, so it could come out a little higher or lower anyway. Just a fun element that obviously was never there before

Always nice when you can put together a huge win at home when a big recruit is visiting. #7 DT Dennis Barrow from Mercedes, TX was in town along with Juco (So) Wr Victor Davis from Aldine, TX. The Aggies are 3rd on both lists but are a ways behind. A game like this against the #8 team was do or die on these two recruits and we came through. Will it be enough to get them really excited?

Sadly, we weren't too confident about this game so we held off on some recruiting visits for 4 weeks until Ole Miss comes to town. Not a bad strategy still, but this game could have cemented some commits. Now it'll have to wait.

FSU has 16 seniors and 2 open spots giving us 18, but we'll expect to lose a couple to the draft

I'm loving the changes in pitches each week based on performance. I probably like the dynamic pitches more than the scouting. No signings for FSU yet and we have at least 18 open spots.

Yeah, the dynamic pitches are crazy. My championship contender dropped from an A to a B+ after I lost to Arkansas.

Guys - I will create recruiting boards for each team in the first post in midseason, likely around week 6-7, once more recruits are signed.

For now, the Bulldogs have only one commitment -

:3stars: JUCO SO WR Brian Palmer, 6'1" 211 lbs from Thomson, GA

Brian shot for the stars with his early top 5 list, as his coaches had filled his head with dreams of seeing the world outside of Georgia. Unfortunately for him, none of the schools he wanted to go to (such as Ohio St, LSU, Florida) showed him any love. One of Coach Dru's scouts reported that the kid had 93 speed and 95 acceleration, and offered him a scholly and the rest is history.

With the lack of elite speed in the WR corp and the fact that Brian is projected to come in at a 77 OVR, there is a very good chance he'll compete for the 3rd or 4th WR position on the team next season.

The Miami Hurricanes picked up their first commitment of the season:

    ATH (#47) :3stars:
Kurt Covington - South Miami Heights, FL

Kurt seemed to go under the radar of the major scouting services, but the Miami coaches are excited to get him on campus as he shows a lot of potential (projected 76 OVR).

Kurt will likely became a CB once on campus as he has great athleticism (92 SPD, 91 AGI, 90 ACC) to go along with good cover skills (80 MCv, 84 ZCv).
