Before some peeps panties get in a bunch, I had to replay my game this morning. Had to quit during the first 0-0 last night, wife was giving me the evil eye and threatening to withhold the goods for an undisclosed amount of time. I already notified IB last night.

    VT- 49
    Miami- 7

The Hokies played their first complete game and this is even more suprising after their poor showing a week before. Logan Thomas bounced back with a 273yd 1 TD passing and 65yd rushing performance. Thomas still threw 2 INT's and he really needs to work on taking care of the ball if VT still once a shot at an ACC title. Michael Holmes made the endzone his second home with 4 TD from 95yd rushing. Thomas was able to spread the ball around as 7 different players has a reception. The D gave Miami problems all day, holding them to 74yds of offense while putting pressure on the QB all day. Big user conference game next week vs FSU.

OKSU shows its strength over KSU
    33-3
OKSU showed off a new side of its game. A power rushing attack lead by FB Stanley. With Smith being knocked out for the first quarter and most of the game Wr Stewart and FB Stanley would do most of the rushing and Stanley would come through.
OKSU would jump on KSU 24-0 on a series of mistakes by the Wildcats and a series of good plays by the Cowboys. Once OKSU got out to the commanding lead they relied on a series of quick passes and power running plays that allowed the Cowboys to slow the game clock to a halt winning the TOp by over 5 minutes of game play. While the cowboys were 0-3 for TD in the redzone they did pick up 3 FG and those proved not to be costly in this game. As the KSU Wildcats were decimated by injuries coming into the game. Overall it was a good game. Just got crazy in the beginning and KSU couldnt come back with the young buck at QB.

Virginia comes away with a much needed win against #3 NC ST, 34-21.

    1st Quarter.
Virginia walked into Wolfpack Stadium and it was packed, waiting for this huge matchup. Coach Cougs was nervous for this game but didn't show any sign of it. Virginia would win the toss but chose to kick off. The defenses started out well forcing two punts a piece, but the Wolfpack would score first thanks to the legs of Heisman candidate, James Washington. The Wolfpack led 7-0. The Wolfpack kicked it off deep in the endzone and Nicholson took it out and saw a cutback lane and hit it fast, it looked like Nicholson would take it to the house but was stopped. The Cavaliers would drive down the field thanks to Sims. Sims would hit Terrell on a 4 yard drag to put the Cavaliers on the board. The game was tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter.

    2nd Quarter.
More great defense from both teams were shown as nobody could find the endzone or even make a field goal. The Wolfpack would score with 3:18 left in the half. To take a 14-7 lead. The Cavaliers tried to answer by airing it out but didn't work out and settled for a field with 44 seconds left in the half. The Wolfpack would drive down to try and score again but would throw an interception and the Cavaliers began their drive, with 17 seconds left the Cavaliers would be in NC ST territory but Sims would throw an interception with 1 second left and the Wolfpack would have the 14-7 lead going into halftime.

    3rd Quarter.
The Cavaliers started the 2nd half with the ball. The Cavaliers didn't really have a run game so Sims would throw it around the field. Which led the Cavaliers to 7 points as Sims found Darius Jennings for a 14 yard catch to tie the game at 14. After the kick North Carolina State would find Tobias Palmer streaking down the field after Demetrius Nicholson got BURNT to give the Wolfpack a 21-14 lead. The Cavaliers then drove down the field to score on a 15 yard QB keeper. The Wolfpack looked to score but Glennon was picked off. The Cavaliers would capitalize off of that turnover and Perry Jones would run for a 5 yard score. Putting the Cavaliers up 31-21 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

    4th Quarter.
The Cavalier defense just pretty much shut Glennon down here and got two much needed interceptions. This quarter consisted of teams punting the ball back and forward to each other. The Cavaliers kicked a field goal to put them up 34-21. The Wolfpack tried to put together a drive but failed on 4th down which secured the win for the #1 Virginia Cavaliers.

Sorry about leaving the grid yesterday fellas, I was pretty sick but feel better today.

I work noon-6 today sitting at a computer. I'll be updating the original thread, recruiting, and bugging you guys to do summaries as usual. No need to fret!

Updated the original post. The second "week 10 update" is the one that works. I'd fix it but it'll take 10-15 minutes of me fixing the code, so don't really see the point with us advancing very soon.

The Arkansas Razorbacks came into Tallahassee the number 7 team in the nation. The first play of the game E.J. dropped back and underestimated the closing speed of CB Kelvin Fisher Jr. who undercut the out route and returned the INT for a TD. Arkansas jumps out early 7-0. The very next play from scrimmage Manuel throws another interception giving Arkansas the ball around the 50. We forced a huge 3 and out with a Bjoern Werner sack on 3rd down. After a good drive into Arkansas territory E.J. throws his 3rd INT of the first quarter. Once again the defense bails out our early offensive struggles, CB Xavier Rhodes intercepted Tyler Wilson. The offense made it into FG range and Dustin Hopkins hit a 47 yard FG to put the Noles on the board. With only seconds remaining in the 1st quarter and facing a 3rd and long, E.J. found Nick O'Leary down the seam for a 54 yard TD pass to take the lead going into the second quarter 10-7.
After trading punts to start the second quarter Manuel found a wide-open Rashad Greene for a 60 yard TD to put our lead at 10 points. Arkansas answered back with a long drive eating up over 2 minutes but had to settle for a 26 yard FG with 1:08 to play in the first half. Kenny Shaw returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards but was called back due to holding. Manuel then came out and ran a great no huddle drive which was capped off with a 26 yard TD to Kenny Shaw with only 1 second left on the clock, it was a risky call to take a shot at the end zone but it paid off thanks to a great read made by E.J. 24-10 FSU going into the half.
Arkansas found the running game to be effective to start the 3rd as we were focused on shutting down Tyler Wilson. The Razorbacks marched right down the field and ran it in from 14 yards out to cut our lead to 7. We found a running lane of our own as HB Devonta Freeman broke a 42 yard run down the sideline to put the lead back at 14. Arkansas sustained another good drive but our defense forced a 50 yard FG which Zach Hocker hit with ease.
The fourth quarter was much like the third with teams trading early TD's. Tyler Wilson threw his first TD pass of the evening and Manuel added his 3rd of his own. After Wilson converted the 2pt conversion to cut the lead to 10, the Razorbacks nearly recovered the onside kick but Willie Haulstead dove on the loose ball and we took over up 10 with 2:40 to play. After getting stuffed on the run with the first two play, Manuel made another huge play in the passing game to seal the game with his 4th TD pass of the game, a 43 yard strike to Rashad Greene with 1:54 to play.
    Offensive Player of the Game: E.J. Manuel 22-26 370 yards 5 TD's and 3 INT's, TE Nick O'Leary 5 catches 105 yards 2 TD's, & Rashad Greene 6 catches 132 yards and 2 TD's.
Defensive Player of the Game: Xavier Rhodes 1 tackle and 2 INT's and Vince Williams 8 tackles.
Next week we travel to Virginia Tech to take on the Hokies, never an easy place to play. Should be fun.

    TCU RB WAYMON JAMES CARRIES
    HORNED FROGS PAST MOUNTAINEERS

It feels like every TCU home gain has had rain for whether during the 2012 season. Another cloud was hanging over the Horned Frogs as they hosted #18 West Virginia in on a rainy afternoon. The first quarter the defenses absolutely dominated. The only points of the quarter came on a K Ryan DeNucci field goal. TCU led 3-0 at the end of the first.

The second quarter featured more action. Each team scored a touchdown. WVU would strike first with a 13 yard TD pass from QB Geno Smith to WR Tavon Austin. The Horned Frogs trailed 3-7, but before halftime they put together a productive drive that resulted in a 1 yard touchdown run by RB Waymon James. Texas Christian led 10-7 at halftime.

There was absolutely no offense in the third quarter. No team scored a point, and the rain was really making it tough for the offenses to put together plays without getting stuffed or suffering a loss of yardage. Same score at the end of third.

The chess match continued and in 2012 TCU fashion the game was still in doubt late into the fourth quarter. TCU added a field goal to open up the quarter to increase their lead to six points. The mountaineers answered with a field goal of their own cutting the lead back to three. Waymon James was carrying the team on his back and rumbled into the endzone on a 4 yard TD with 1:08 left in the game. The game looked to be over, but WVU charged down the field and scored a TD on a 21 yard TD pass with :11 seconds in the game. Down 17-20, WVU attempted an onside kick and failed. Horned Frogs win another nailbiter 20-17!

    Maryland Takes Care of GT - 28 - 19

CJ Brown actually threw more TD's than INT's. The good news is this is his Junior year and has a chance to redeem himself next year. The sole pick on CJ's part was a tipped pass that was scooped off the turf and upheld by a crappy replay review. The terps D held the GT option Offense in check most of the game despite repeated attempts at screen plays ad nauseum by GT.
