Down 35-16 in the fourth the Aggies would not go away and almost pull off the upset. The Horns defense was nowhere to be seen as Christine Michael tore them a new one.

Coach Vredesbyrd has work to do to make sure his bunch are ready for the bowl season...

Bama avoids the CPU screw job in the Iron Bowl. The Auburn d-line did it's best impersonation of the Pittsburgh Steel Curtain defense and was unblockable all game. If not for a 103 kickoff return by Arenas I would have likely lost this game. Phew.

Seems like this was the CPU scare week. I nearly lose to Auburn, a 5-6 FSU team puts up 38 on Florida and you nearly lose to A&M. Beware, those who haven't played yet.

The game seemed a lot closer than the final score would seem, it was a hard fought game. Bill Stull went down for two quarters and Bostick didn't manage the game well as he threw 2 INTs. Shariff Harris played phenomenal today as he rushed for 127 yards and 5 TDs. Defense played well holding West Virginia to 23% 3rd down conversion and 47 rushing yards.

    Illini 35
    #17 Cincy 42

    Bearcats End Skid

Cincy wins a closer one than they expected. Led by QB Juice Williams' 5 TD passes, the Illini made this a game. The Bearcats had the answer however with SR WR Mardy Gilyard having a career day as he broke the single season school record for receptions with 68. QB Tony Pike struggled at times, but he came through when it counted to get the Bearcats off their losing streak and back to their winning ways.

    Player of the game:
    WR M. Gilyard, 9 rec, 172 yds, 3 TDs

Wow, good job by everyone so far in avoiding the CPU upset. This has been the tightest week in CPU competition thus far.

You better win, I don't want a CPU team facing OU in the Big 12 title game. Get your game face on!

Bryce Brown had a huge day, going for over 200 yards with 4 TD's. Gave up a crap load of yards to the Wildcats but managed to pull away from them in the 2nd half. Now we wait to see what bowl game the Vols will be invited to play in.

I had to sim the 4th quarter. My boy woke up from his nap and he just wouldnt let me finish. I was up 34-21 at the time. Not sure if there are any rule violations for this. So if you need to throw out the results and sim, im cool with that.

No worries of an upset in this one. I only played my starters the 1st half, then put in the 3rd stringers for fear of injuries. I believe this is the 1st game in NCAA 10 that I have held the opposing team scoreless. I was amazed. Full write up/stats to come later in the day.

USF claims its rightful spot among the elite teams in Florida by shutting down Miami and winning 24-7.

The Bulls unquestioned leader Matt Grothe went down with an injury in the second quarter of this one forcing (RS)Freshman BJ Daniels to step up. Daniels definitely answered the call and, although he didnt put up the best, he lead his team to victory.

Miami was too fast at times for the Bulls. They were stringing out Grothe and the WBs from sideline to sideline, and Ford was having trouble busting the gut of the Cane defense. After taking 1 too many big hits from Miami's LBs Grothe had to take a breather and wouldnt come back in. Although BJ Daniels' speed helped the option attack, the Hurricanes were still too fast as a team to get gashed by the fleXbox One. So the Bulls had to rely on a (RS)Freshman QB and the short passing game to be able to move the ball effectively. Obviously the Bulls were limited offensively, but their defense had no such excuse and played like a top-tier team.

Next week the Bulls pack-up and ship out to South Bend to take on Big East opponent Notre Dame. Its a battle for 2nd place in the Big East, and if Pitt goes to the NC it is a battle for a BCS bowl appearance.
Are the Irish ready for the Grothe and the FleXbox One?

That's the funniest thing I heard all day. Anybody can beat Miami, just ask Wisconsin.

OK, we are advancing. Beazus, not sure what happened but you didn't get your game in or let me know what's up. Post in one of the threads and let us know you are alive.
