Next advance (to the CCG) is no later than Tuesday 7:30pm pst. Per recchem2000 we will be skipping week 15. Save your complaints on it cause I ain't listening since we are in a "rules free" end of the season. ;)

How the heck did FSU leap frog me in the top 25 one week after losing to me? Stupid EA logic....

Georgia and Florida State may very well end up playing for the NC without either playing in the CCG (n)

The National Title picture is still pretty hazy if Texas A&M can knock off Georgia this week. And if they were to win and beat Florida, they might have a shot at the title with 3 losses. Texas is 7-2 with 2 games remaining and (does the Big12 have a title game?). If A&M were to win, Notre Dame could face FSU in an all-ACC title game, but if GT wins, I don't see them climbing high enough. Boise's #8 at 10-1.

    1. UGA - at A&M, season over
    2. Florida - L vs FSU, SEC CG
    3. FSU - W at UF, season over
    4. Texas
    5. Notre Dame - BYE, Georgia Tech
    6. Boise -
    7. Texas A&M - UGA, possible SEC CG
    8. GT - BYE, Notre Dame
    9. Washington
    10. Alabama - possible SEC CG

Even if Georgia wins? You'd have three at 2 losses. Did you beat both of them im assuming then?

BBJ beat me and recchem2000 - he won the SEC west and is in the CCG.

Georgia's record isn't relevant - he lost the SEC east to Florida.

Yes he did...it's Florida vs TAMU for the SEC crown no matter what happens against UGA

And Texas isn't even going to win the Big 12 unless OU loses.

    Holy Mess......

So, if TAMU wins out (and jumps up the rankings with back to back top 10 wins) we could see 3 loss TAMU vs 2 loss FSU who didn't win their conference with ND left out (assuming I beat GaTech, which is unlikely) despite beating FSU, having the same number of losses and winning the conference...... I hope that happens just because it is ridiculous enough to be hilarious. The other scenario that is just plain fun is Georgia vs FSU where neither team won their conference, if that happened in RL I think the media would spontaneously combust.

Usually you are better off being in the top 5 and not in the CCG - you can often back into the BCS title game if the top ranked team(s) lose.....at least in the EA world.

Although how often do we see no undefeated teams, only 3 teams with 1 loss, UGA, Boise (they'd have to go undefeated), and Texas. It's so much of a mess that I don't even know where I'd put people as a voter. I know your loss to GT was a sim, but how do you rank FSU, GT, Notre Dame? That's tough to do by itself without adding all the SEC teams, Texas, and Boise.

FSU - 10-2 with losses to UGA, Notre Dame
Notre Dame - 10-2 with losses to GT, Bama
Georgia Tech - 10-2 with losses to FSU, UGA

All the losses were top-10 teams, so I guess it might revert back to preseason rankings.

Notre Dame lost to Alabama and the fighting recchem2000 ...that alone should DQ them from National title contention ;)

I agree it is a mess. Since ND beat FSU in week 12 and their last loss was before that, and assuming they win the ACC, I would think that 2 loss ND with H2H win and conf title trumps 2 loss FSU....... Probably won't work that way, whatever happens is fine though, I don't expect any NC consideration with 2 losses anyways
