THE BLAIR WALSH PROJECTVikings pull off 23-20 upset over the 49ers. Ponder throws for over 250 and 2 TDs with only 1 INT. Peterson goes for 134 but 0 TDs. Great game full of fumbles! 20-10, the Vikings didn't give up. Scored 13 unanswered points. On the kickoff after Walsh made it 20-20, 49ers would fumble on the kickoff giving the Vikings game winning field position.
Raiders Get 1st Win of The Year28-21 Over The Pittsburgh Steelers It was a struggle for both offenses as yards and points were hard to come by at times, there was no shortage of big plays tho mostly made by each teams defense and special teams, both defense would get 3 INT's with The Raiders also causing a fumble, each team would also have a punt return for a TD. With the score 21-21 Carson Palmer would hit David Ausberry on Play action pass for a go ahead TD with just 2 minutes left. Rothleisberger would drive the Steelers down the field but with under 20 seconds on the clock he would get intercepted by Tyvon Branch to seal the Win. The Raiders defense would also get 6 sacks on the day including 4 by Lamar Houston.
GG man, there were a lot of fumbles in this one for sure!
Chicago Bears - 20
St. Louis Rams - 7
The Rams suffered a tough loss at the hands of the Bears due to solid play by thirdalarm, but also some very key third down drops that stalled drives. Four to be exact. Very, very frustrating way to stall drives. Defensively the Rams played much better, getting a pick, but also missing a few big plays. Overall the Bears defense was the difference, causing turnovers and getting key third down stops.
Giants Finish Off Carolina as Time ExpiresIt Took a Field Goal as the Clock Struck Zero for NYG to Move to 3-0 A back and forth battle ensued in Carolina as the Panthers and Giants put everything they had on the field for 4 quarters. Neither offense could get anything going consistently and Carolina even had jumped out to a 14-0 lead early. Both QBs, Eli Manning and Cam Newton struggled threw the air. Cam threw 3 picks, while Eli threw 4. Manning was able to find a rhythm and tossed two big time TDs to give New York the lead and eventual 23-20 victory. WR Hakeem Nicks was the go to target for Eli, with 4 receptions for 110 YDs and a Touchdown. GG Blackattack87

Dolphins Get Tebowed in 4th Qtr The Dolphins under new leadership faced cadepetty247 and his NY Jets in a battle for 1st in the AFC East. Thru 3 Qtrs the two defensive's ruled the game as Miami built a 16-6 lead going into the final period. In the 4th Qtr the Jets made the move and went to Tim Tebow in relief of Sanchez. He promptly lead the Jets down the field and ct the lead to 16-13. Miami looked to be moving the ball and eating clock when after picking up a first down were shocked to see their WR cough up the football. The Jets took the lead when under heavy pressure from the Dolphins defense Tebow flipped a pass under handed to the HB who raced the distance and gave the Jets the lead at 20-16. The Dolphins in their last ditch effort to get down field for the win were stopped when another WR fumbled after making a catch and killed any hopes Miami had for a comeback. The player of the game without a Doubt was Tim Tebow, even though he only had a little over 100 yards passing, the 2 TDs were the difference in the game. Great game cadepetty247 look forward to the rematch later this year.
ITS TEBOW TIME! Jets 20 Phins 16 Let the TEBOWING trend start now! The Jets meet up with their division rival Miami Dolphins in week 3. The first half was a defensive half with the Jets kicking two field goals and the Phins adding one until the final seconds. Ryan "Aggie" Tannehill let it fly from the 49yd line connecting with Chad "no more Ocho" Johnson to put the Phins up 10-6 at half. After another INT by sanchez the would kick another FG putting them up 13-6. The start of the 4th quarter Coach Petty decided to make a change after another FG by the Phins after a costly INT from Sanchez. Petty called on Tebow. Tebow would step in driving his team down the Phins 15yd line. On the first play in the redzone Tebow hit Holmes on a curl route to make the score 16-13 with 4min left. The Jets now relied on their defense to stop these phins. They would force a fumble giving Tebow a chance to win the game. Under the 2min warning, Coach Petty called a screen to Joe McKnight. Tebow was pressure by the defenders and was forced to throw it underhanded to McKnight. Joe catch the underhanded pass scampered down the sideline into the endzone for a TD 20-16. Tebow fired the defense up. "We Knew after Tim got that touchdown that it was our turn" said safety LaRon Landry. Lineback David Harris would force a fumble giving Tebow a chance to kneel it out or in NY we know it as Tebowing the clock... The question now remains will Coach Petty give Tebow the nod for next week or will Tebow will be their 4th quarter savior???
Cincinnati Bengals 37, Washington Redskins 40 (OT)
In a battle of a lagfest between these two squads, the Redskins pulled out the victory despite giving up a 21 point lead and eventually trailing by 3 points with just over a minute left in the game. Robert Griffin III led Washington all the way down the field where Neil Rackers sent the game into overtime. The Bengals won the toss, and looked to be headed into a solid drive, but Andy Dalton threw and interception to Josh Wilson, Wilson's second of the game. RG3 then took the reins and led the Redkins on a solid drive where they would like up for the field goal on first down and end the game. The Skins sit at 2-1 and will play Tampa Bay next week. RG3 is looking like a very solid choice for ROY through three weeks of the season.

Packers 26 @ Seahawks 24
What was always going to be a HK battle was just that. Best way to describe this was a tail of two games. Packers had total control early and the Hawks total control late. Many silly mistakes from both users lead to turnovers and even dropped turnovers. This game could of went one of many ways if any of these plays was capitalized on. Not much more to say as both teams were one dimensional. The packers ran it alot and Seattle ran with Wilson alot.
Packers player of the game
Aaron Rodgers 235 yards 2 td 1 int
Seattle player of the game
Russell Wilson 252 passing yards and 131 rushing yards
Saints Win Despite Six Turnovers Player of the Game: TE Jimmy Graham - New Orleans - 12 Rec, 221 Yards, 1 TD
Jacksonville Hangs On For 1st Victory
Indianapolis, IN - After a pitiful offensive performance in Week 2 against the Texans, the Jaguars came into Indianapolis with a need to show that they were better than that. They got that opportunity early when rookie QB Andrew Luck would throw an interception to Jacksonville CB Trumaine McBride giving the Jags great field position. A few plays later, rookie WR Justin Blackmon would catch a TD pass to give the Jags a 7-0 lead. In the 2nd quarter, Blackmon would get another TD reception to push the Jags' lead to 14-0. Jacksonville was rolling at this point and later in the quarter, they would be in scoring position again. The Jags got a little bit comfortable though and QB Blaine Gabbert would make a risky throw that the Colts would intercept inside their own 5 yard line. The Colts would start to find a groove though after the turnover. They would move the ball down the field and get a a FG to make it 14-3 at halftime. In the the 3rd quarter, the Jags were able to extend their lead to 21-3 behind a Rashard Jennings rushing TD, the Jags 1st of the season. But after that, it was all Colts. Indy would add a FG in the 3rd quarter to make it 21-6 heading into the 4th. The Colts found some magic in some big plays. It started with a 44 yard TD pass from Luck to WR Austin Collie. Collie dodged some tackles on an impressive play to make it 21-13. On the Jags next possession, Gabbert would throw a pick 6 allowing the Colts to close it to 21-19. Indianapolis would go for the tie on a 2 point conversion, but Luck's pass attempt was batted down by Jacksonville to maintain the lead. Indy would go for the onside kick but Justin Blackmon would recover it. The Colts still had 3 TOs remaining and were able to shut down the Jags offense and get the ball back. Indy would march down the field and get into FG position with about 50 seconds remaining in the game. They would still want to improve their FG position so they would run RB Donald Brown up the middle to get some safe yardage. It turned out to not be very safe the Jags would nail Brown, force a fumble, and recover it to seal the game at 21-19 with 40 seconds remaining. GG ChaoticUT
Great game Hal. Figured we could run some more clock at the end. It was a nice hit by you. We made some big time mistakes early, we were lucky to even have a chance at a victory. Until next time...
Bucs use balanced attack to get 2nd win of the season. Josh Freeman threw for 291 yds and 3 tds without an int. Rookie HB Doug Martin ran for a game high 108 yds and a score while Mike Williams led the team in receiving with 86yds and a score. Next up, The Washington Redskins. GG Bob
