    D Plays Strong In Victory
    [IMG]
The Texans came in to the game with a record of 1-2 and knew if they wanted to get back to .500 they would have to play their best game all season which they proved they could do. It did not start off well for the Texans though as the D would let Tennessee drive down the field but they would hold them to a FG. The Texans would respond back quickly with a solid drive of their own. This drive would be finished off with a 31 yard screen pass to Foster to put Houston up 7-3. The Texans would not look back from there. In the second quarter Shayne Graham would pick up 3 FG from 20, 22 and 30 yards. These FGs would give the Texans some much need confidence going into half up by 13. In the third quarter Houston D would only be on the field for 10 seconds. This is because the Texans got the ball to start the quarter and would hold on to it for 5 minutes. They would pick up another FG to extend the lead to 16. On the ensuing drive Locker would get pick off on the first play to give the Texans the ball right back. Houston would end up kick a FG again to put them up by 19. The Texans D would back off a bit in the 4th and give up a TD pass and FG but it was not enough for Tennessee. GG thebouncer24

    Final Score:

    Tennessee 13

    Houston 22

    Buffalo 27 New England 17

Buffalo was outclassed at home most of the first half. Buffalo drove down the field on the opening drive and Rian Lindell clanked the 46 yard FG attempt of the crossbar. This gave New England the ball which they drove down the field for a Stephen Gostowski FG. NE up 3-0. Ryan Fitzpatrick then proceeded to throw his 12th interception on the season. This led to NE getting their Gronk on with Rob Gronkowski catching a TD pass. Later in 2nd quarter, Buffalo drove down the field leading to a Fred Jackson rushing TD. Brady hit Aaron Hernandez for a TD as well. As the half was winding down, NE drove down the field and Tom Brady was picked off by Bryan Scott who went 91 yards for the TD. NE up 17-14 at the half.

In the second half NE started to fall apart. Brady throws 2 more interceptions and and Wes Welker lost a fumble. NE also tried for it on a 4th and 1 and failed. All these errors allowed Buffalo to take control of the game. In second half Ryan Fitzpatrick hit Corey McIntyre for a 2 yard TD. This was set up by a 33 yard completion from Fitzpatrick to Naaman Roosevelt. Fitzpatrick made a bad pass that should have been picked on the play and somehow Roosevelt caught the pass and stayed in bounds. NE challenged the play and it was upheld.

    Players of the game

Buffalo Leodis McKelvin 1 INT 1 FR
Bryan Scott 1 INT 1 TD

NE Rob Gronkowski 7 catches 130 yards 1 TD

CHARGERS ROLL IN THE THUNDER AT ARROWHEAD, SHUT OUT CHIEFS
    50-0
    [IMG]
The rain sure didn't effect this Chargers performance in KCMO this week. Phillip Rivers was near perfect, going 12 for 15 for 178 yards and 4 touchdowns. Ryan Mathews also did great, running for 121 and a td. The big story, however, was the Chargers defense. San Diego let up just 17 passing yards all game from Matt Cassell, and held Jamaal Charles to under 40 yards. A big reason was Shaun Phillips, who pressured the Chiefs all day and recorded 2 more sacks. In the end, this is only one game, but it is hard not to feel a little satisfied after last weeks choke job against the Falcons.

    49ers 31 - Jets 24

The 49ers bounced back with a sloppy win against the Jets this week as the two teams combined for 9 turnovers in this game and saw the defenses score 3 TD's. The 49ers took the opening kick and marched down the field on the Jets D and capped off the drive with a Kendall Hunter touchdown run to put the Niners up 7-0. On the Jets first possession, they started driving down field as well, but then the craziness happened. Tebow threw his first of 6 INT's deep in Niners territory, shortly after that, Alex Smith threw one to Cromartie who returned it for a TD to tie it up at 7. On the Niners next drive, they would take it into Jets territory before Alex Smith threw another INT around the 10 yard line where Kyle Wilson picked it off, bounced off a few tacklers, found his way to the outside, and was gone for another Jets defensive TD, Jets up 14-7. The Niners would respond, however, as they tied it up when LaMichael James took the read option and ran 20 yards for a TD. On the Jets next possession, Tebow would throw an INT to Chris Culliver who took it to the house to make it 21-14 Niners. The second half would be more of the same, as Tebow threw 4 more INT's in the 2nd half, including one with about 30 seconds left to ice it for the Niners, and Alex Smith and Frank Gore each had a turnover for the Niners in the 2nd half as well.

Miami Pulls out a 28-20 Win
    [IMG]
The Dolphins traveled to Arizona to face Diddy81 and his Cardinals in a inter-sectional contest. Arizona opened the game and marched down the field with little resistance from Miami until the reached the red zone. Inside the 5 Miami stiffened and forced a FG. The Dolphins offense struggled most of the game to get an offense going but in the 2nd Qtr found away to get themselves points on the scoreboard. Sean Smith snag 2 of his game high 3 INTs during the 2nd Qtr and returned one of them for a TD. The Dolphins slowly built a 20-6 lead only to see Arizona quickly cut that lead to 20-13 in the 3rd Qtr. But the Dolphins responded on the kick off and returned it for a TD and increased their lead back to 28-13. The Cardinals one again cut the lead to 28-20 but the Miami defense held on and the Dolphins found just enough offense to hold on for the win.
Great game by Diddy81 and whoever has to face Beanie Wells, get ready.

    HardKnocks AP: Dallas, TX
Week 4 had Chicago traveling to Dallas for a game that seemed to head under the radar in the "hype" dept, but sure didn't disappoint the 80,000 fans on hand. Dallas went down the field in the 1st drive of the game with a Romo to Austin 30 yd TD pass with little resistance. The Bears didnt have an answer to the Dallas D untill the 2nd qtr when Rookie Wr Alshon Jeffery caught a short pass from Cutler and ran it up field for a 67 yds TD. Later in the 2nd DE Cory Wooton picked up a fumble after a nasty sack and took it to the house from 16 yds out. The Bears answered on the very next drive with a Urlacher 45 yrd int to the endzone, only to let Romo lead the Boys to a J.Witten TD to bring and exciting 1st half to a close at 24-14 Bears lead. The 2nd half was mostly defense until late in the 3rd when Cutler hooked up with E.Bennett from 23 yds out for a TD. Once again the Cowboys had an immediate answer with a 101 yd kick return TD to end the 3rd qtr. Cutler fired a short pass to B.Marshall who took it threw the middle of the field for a 30yd TD pass to seal the deal. Romo hit Witten again in the endzone but time ran out in this slobber-knocker for a bears victory 38-28. Great game Bobjr.

    Romo 16-27 324 yds 3 TD
    Cutler 17-19 229 yds 3 TD

    Forte 21-84
    Murray 10-28

    Marshall 5-64-1
    Witten 4-36-2
    Bryant 3-73
    Jeffery 2-82-1
