Falcons squeak out victory over Umass
TD: M. Schilz pass to S. Joplin for 20yds
This game was one that Bowling Green definitely underestimated their opponent. UMass came ready to play and took Bowling Green down to the wire. On paper, UMass out played the Falcons in every facet of the game. "We have got to play better " said Coach Davis, "We may be 4-2 but we have not played up to our potential yet, if we continue to play sloppy uninspired football, we can kiss any chance of a bowl birth good bye. I guarantee Mississippi State won't take it easy on us next week!."

TOLEDO 34 WESTERN MICHIGAN 24
Toledo was able to defend their home turf against Western Michigan and move to 4-2 on the year with a 34-24 win. A close game throughout with a key play coming late as WMU QB Tubbergen fumbled on a scramble which Toledo recovered and later converted on going up two scores. The win helped to get early commits from 5 recruits who were in attendance at the game. Next up for the Rockets is a bye week and a chance to try to close some ground on some elusive recruit prospects.

Just had one of those OD games where the AI decides you are not going to win no matter what!!! Only a perfect game can overcome these mega games and even then sometimes you just can't win - New Mexico became Alabama for a night.
SJSU Over Hawaii 41-35 to go 5-0
Ohio holds off Akron 52-37. The Bobcats extend their winning streak with an overwhelming team rushing effort. Ohio rushed for 417 yards on 52 carries. The Bobcats had 7 different players rush for 40+ yards.
