    Kansas State- 40
    Colorado- 15

So the Widcats do have a defense, holding the buffs to 149yds offense, 3-13 3rd down conversions, safety, INT, and 8 sacks. Kansas State moved the ball very well with a balanced attack 246yds on the ground and 272yds in the air. The Wildcats are still turnover prone with 3 TO's.

The Good: Kansas State moves to 8-0
The Bad: I have lost my starting QB and RB a week before my big matchup with #1 Oklahoma.

    Bearcats Win!!!

Cincy bounces back from their bad loss last week to USF to knock off the Cardinals at home in Big East play.

The Cardinals gave it their all (with plenty of help from crappy programming from EA) but came up short in the long run. Cincy QB Tony Pike had a huge day throwing for 450+ yards and 4 TDs. The defense contributed to this big time as they insisted on blitzing everybody every play. He also threw 3 INT's that were absolutely silly. One was an option route where the WR should of ran a curl and he was wide open, instead he ran an out right into coverage and the ball was picked. The other was a horrible over throw on a double move to Gilyard and the other was a ball that was completed to the WR who then got hit sticked by the defense and the CB caught the ball as it dropped out of the WRs hands.

Louisville HB Victor Anderson had a huge day going for 154 yds on 17 carries. The Cardinals offensive line also had a field day as they racked up 25 pancakes on the day.

Perhaps we should tune the CPU blocking down a bit???

LMAO! 1st play of the game. I called 3-4 man cover 2. They ran a dive play. I think they got 8 of their 25 pancakes on this play.

I've noticed the pancake issue as well. I will likely reduce cpu run blocking slightly before the next advance.

The Bulls fall short @Pitt. 35-28. Fumbles and INTs killed USF in this one. More detailed write-up coming soon.

Pittsburgh, PA-- South Florida came into the game #3 there highest rating since being #2 a few years ago and Pittsburgh #5. The first meeting between these two head coaches even though they have been in the same league for 4 years before coming into this one. The first half didnt disappoint as Pittsburgh took a 23-17 lead, scoring 10 points in the final 2 mins. Third quarter, both defenses settled down and the offenses traded scores. Grothe seemed like he was going to settle in as he picked up a big 55 yard rush. The score at the end of the 3rd was USF 24 Pitt 30. Pitt scored early in the 4th on a 25 yard run by Harris and converted the 2 point conversion to go up 14, 38-24. USF able to cut the lead to 7 with 2:50 left and force a punt but Pitt downed the ball inside the 3. USF able to move the ball outside to 30 with plenty of time left, Grothe hit an inside post route but the safety flew over and jarred the ball loose and Pitt recovered for the win.

Good win, Noles. That is a deceiving box score at first glance. USF outgained Pitt by nearly 2 to 1, held Pitt to zero 3rd down conversions and still lost. I guess it's tough to overcome a 6-1 turnover ratio.

With Pitt's win I would expect you to climb into the top 2 and stay there, setting up a possible matchup with Eagles and his Gators team.

Yea, I was surprised when I looked at the boxscore and third down conversions. That might be the first game I havent converted a 3rd down.

Nice win Noles. I'm not sure it was the offensive performance you'd of liked but a wins a win.

I'm exstatic, you kept the door open for the Bearcats in the Big East. Thank you!

    Tennessee 26
    Alabama 38

A great game in this storied rivalry saw Tennessee play very tough on the road against what many saw as a superior team. Both teams offenses moved seemingly at will during the game, with the difference in the game being a 3rd down stop in the first half by Bama and a 3rd quarter INT that pushed the lead to 3 scores.

The offense for Bama was largely McElroy moving the team downfield in the passing game (18-23 for 317 yards and a TD) with Ingram banging the ball into the end zone once inside the red zone (28 runs, 122 yards, 4 TD).

Great game Recchem! Look forward to the rematch next year.

Good game Dru. I just couldnt get your dang offense off the field. I tried everything. Man, Zone, Blitz. Tried controlling my D-Line, MLB and Safeties. Nothing worked. You took it to us. Good luck the rest of the season.
