What a shoot out with USC, this was one crazy game...too many holding penalties early were stalling drives and then we couldnt get USC off the field.

In the third qtr they had taken a 21 point lead, we cut it to 14, then it was at 17, then 10, then 3 then we led by 4...just an unreal comback spurred on by a couple sacks and a pick.

We had the game won with 35 seconds left, after two sacks pushed USC back to the 2 they had a 4th and 28...take a look at the highlights...man o man...Barkley dropped back and threw one deep up for grabs. The USC WR went up in a trio of Bulldogs hauled it in for a 58 yard gain...

I was soo pissed I almost lost the game. The next play they ran a draw that went for six from about 40 yards out....but finally the refs threw a flag on the Trojans for a clip and brought it back...We then sacked Barkley to seal the game..

We lost, we won, we lost, we won...what a freaking shoot out...just a nail biter and fun game. This looked like the UT game all over again, penalties and mistakes were killing us...couldnt catch a pick or a break...unlike that game we made plays to win this one and got a huge break at the end from the zebras...

    Bulldogs win 48-44.

Nebraska gets another win, thanks to Burkhead and the defense.

Nebraska HB Rex Burkhead had another huge day, as he ran for 123 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns, and should be in most Heisman discussions. The Nebraska defense had a great day as well with two defensive touchdowns, both in the second half, but the star on the day was DT Jared Crick who had 7 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

The Nebraska defense came up with 2 huge plays which changed the game.

Nebraska is now 6-1 on the year and next week they will host the Michigan State Spartans.

    Arizona State - 27
    Ohio State - 20

The Sun Devils relied heavily on HB Cameron Marshall (19 CAR, 191 YDS, TD) and only threw the ball 14 times with Osweiler (7/14, 77 YDS, TD, INT). Meanwhile, Ohio State finally got a good game from Braxton Miller (16/23, 298 YDS, 2 TD, INT) but it wasn't good enough as the Buckeyes came up short. ASU linebackers Brandon Magee and Vontaze Burfict were all over the place. Magee had 9 tackles and 2 sacks, and Burfict had 3 tackles, a sack, and an INT to keep the Ohio State offense under control.

    James lights it up again!

Heisman Hopeful LaMichael James after a 60-yard TD run.

Although overmatched in terms of overall talent and speed, Colorado came out looking good on their first drive. Four straight runs followed by a PA pass put the Buffs at the Duck 29-yard line. Oregon's defense finally started to show signs of life on, stuffing the 1st down rush for no gain. On the next play, DT Wade Keliikipi chased Tyler Hansen down for a sack on a screen pass. The Buffaloes gained some of the yards back on 3rd down, but the FG attempt fell short. Oregon's first drive featured a heavy dose of LaMichael James. The drive ended up stalling out inside of the 10-yard line and the Ducks settle for a FG. 1st quarter ends 3-0 Oregon.

The Ducks force a punt to start the 2nd, and LaMichael James rips off a 60-yard TD to make it 10-0. An interception on the Buffaloes next possesion gives Oregon the ball on Colorado's side of the 50. James dashes around the corner for a 1-yard score to cap the drive off. Another forced punt and the Ducks take over with about 1:30 left in the half. Poor clock management combined with Darron Thomas taking a sack in side the 5 yard line with no timeouts left, squanders a scoring opportunity for Oregon.

The Quack attack is back on offense after the half. Talented backup Kenjon Barner comes in to give James a breather and scores from 37-yards out. 24-0 Oregon. Colorado responds with a nice drive but on 3rd and 5 from the Oregon 28, the hitch route is jumped by Duck corner Gildon who steps out of bounds after a long return.

The 4th quarter was a lot of clock chewing on both sides. Oregon added a FG at the beginning of the quarter to make it 27-0.

James rips of 60 for the first TD of the game.

Barner adds a 37-yard TD run.

Gildon's INT puts the game away.

    Player of the Game:
HB LaMichael James - 23 Carries 205 Yards 2 TD

    Next up for the Ducks:
    Washington State visits Eugene

    Prediction:
Destruction of a much higher caliber.
