Curious as to what they run? Every standard running play against the 3-3-5 doesnt seem to work at all. Read option all day is straight cheese so I hope its not that. I dont think I will even try running a single down against you next time we play. Its a waste. I'd rather throw 15 picks than continually get stuffed at the line of scrimmage against a 3 man front SMH.

85+....... Both guys have more pro style offenses and seem to have most of their success in sets that unbalance the defense, twins, tackle over, y trips twin TE etc. They can get a few yards most of the time (with some losses in there as well) and they tend to break a couple big runs per game as well.

No read option. The 2-4-5 nickel is actually pretty effective at slowing the read option if you are a 3-4 or 3-3-5 team. Unbalanced sets, power, Iso, counter, stretch. None are automatic, I stuff them some, but they also rip off huge gains. Part of the problem for Auburn is that they have less talent than my Mizzou team to start with

Power plays are best against the 335. Unfortunately, the pulling lineman in the game like to have brain farts.

Good game. The early drops really killed me. I noticed you didn't blitz very much this time around, I kinda had game planned against it.

Yeah, my defensive line is really good so I tend to get okay pressure without sending the house, though I still occasionally send everyone just to keep you honest :)

    Mizzou 37
    Auburn 20

Mizzou jumped out to an early lead with very efficient offensive play, 21-6 at the half. After a near perfect first half from Copeland, a couple of 3rd quarter INTs got Auburn back in this game. About midway through the 4th quarter Auburn forced Mizzou's only punt of the day with the score 28-20. Auburn called a fair catch around the 35 but apparently the CPU got scared and elected to let the ball bounce. It settled inside the 10 yard line and 2 plays later Mizzou recorded a safety. After the safety Mizzou punched in a TD for the final margin. Tough way to lose. It felt like this one was about to get interesting then the CPU does something completely silly......

    Other notes:
    • Mizzou defenders dropped at least half a dozen INTs, Auburn snatched the only two passes they made a catch animation at.
    • Auburn gouged the 3-3-5 with the run a number of times, but seemed to go to the air every time they faced a 2nd and 3 or 4. If they had stuck with the run they may have found more success than what they ended up with.

That stupid punt thing was big though I still needed a TD and 2 pts to tie but I would have rather started at my 30 than inside my 10!

    #11 FSU 45
    #14 Miami 13

After a restart, FSU led Miami 10-3 at the end of the 1st quarter and looked good passing the ball. But FSU took over in the 2nd quarter, shutting out Miami and forcing 2 turnovers, and Lionel Allen threw 3 TD passes to take a 31-7 halftime lead. Miami scored first in the 2nd half to cut the lead to 31-13 and get back into the game. But Miami's secondary seemed to shut down after that as Allen put together 2 TD drives to take a 45-13 lead. With Miami driving, we disconnected and simmed to the end, with a real final score of 52-15. GG Boom29 you blew me out last season.

    FSU
Lionel Allen - 22-30 for 431 yards, 6 TD, INT
Preston Everette - 10 carries for 40 yards, 1 reception for 23 yards
    Josh Huff (1) - 5 receptions for 147 yards, 3 TD
    Keith Tucker (2) - 3 receptions for 72 yards, 2 TD
Jon Dawson (3) - 3 receptions for 34 yards, TD
    Micah Johnson (4) - 8 receptions for 129 yards

    Miami
    Anthony Summers - 22-35 for 285 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT, 4 carries for 65 yards
Dylan Fergusen - 11 carries for 46 yards, 5 receptions for 54 yards
Andre Edwards - 10 receptions for 166 yards, 2 TD
Chris Cook - 5 receptions for 67 yards

Ya, good game. Being unable to generate any sort of pass rush has been my downfall this year. Thinking about it after the game, my secondary held up pretty well initially, but like most would, it broke down with all the time your QB had to throw the ball.

Aggies Survive Horrible Offensive Performance, Beat Canes 24-21

The weather played a major factor in this game. Miami had 2 specific chances to practically finish the game off on the 2 A&M turnovers. Each time the Canes were up 7 and another score, for all intensive purposes would have ended it. But the A&M defense stepped up both times, once giving it right back to their team and the other time reversing everything with an 80 yard returned touchdown.

Another Miami fumble allowed A&M to tie it again in the fourth and then on a game winning attempt of a drive, the Miami RB fumbled again and TAMU recovered around the 43 with 15 seconds to go. On second and 10, TAMU's screen was sniffed out perfectly by the Miami LB (Boom controlled) and lost at least 3 yards. BUT a flag was thrown for roughing and TAMU won on the FG.

Boom29 GG bro. 3 picks and 3 fumbles was just too much to overcome. You almost did it though. As a side note, I wish THAT TAMU defense showed up against whygodwhy1111 one time.

That's the thing that kills it. The assignments are blown against that defense so the line seems to always leave an unblocked player or two.

Mizzou protects their home turf against FSU.

FSU was forced to punt on their first drive near midfield. A quick 3 and out my Mizzou was followed by a 3 and out for FSU. Finally midway through the first Mizzou was able to break the ice. On a 3rd down near midfield, the FSU safety made a bad read and chased the post route leaving the wheel route wide open for a 52 yard strike and a 7-0 Tigers lead. The Seminoles would strike back with a long FG to narrow it to 7-3. On the ensuing kickoff a big hit would result in a fumble and FSU was in business again. With a short field they were able to cash in to take their only lead of the game, 10-7. Early in the second, Mizzou QB Brad Copeland would score on an 18 yard scramble. Then, after a FSU punt, Copeland would connect with his WR for a 17 yard score to extend the lead to 21-10. FSU managed a nice drive late in the half but it would sputter inside the 10 and they would settle for a FG and a 21-13 score at the break.

On the first possession of the third quarter the Seminoles would hold Mizzou to just a FG to keep the defecit at just 11 points. Lionel Allen, in the midst of a pretty tough day, would get caught from behind and fumble the ball on a scramble. A few plays later Mizzou would have it a 31-13 game with an Andre Bentley TD run. A quick and efficient drive from FSU would result in a TD just before the end of the third quarter, making it 31-20 going into the last stanza. FSU would force the first punt for Mizzou since their first possession and get them the ball back with time to make things interesting, but a 4th down pass fell to the ground after a big hit from the safety. Mizzou would only manage a FG for a 34-20 margin, preserving some hope for FSU with just over 3 minutes left, but Allen would throw into man coverage on a short hitch and Trey Scott would take it the other way for a 41-20 lead late in the contest.

GG Kapono your turnovers just came at much worse times than mine.

Ya good game. I have no problem with the INTs, but the fumbles just killed me.

Arkansas Holds on in a shoot out

after a 1000 yards of offense and 88 points, Arkansas pulls away late for the victory. Big Day for Arkansas HB brad Roach and FSU backup QB Melvin Morrow.

Interesting game. There was 300 plus MS of latency, which had 2 major effects. All attempts at user playing a ball in the air ended horribly, and no one could make an open field tackle. FSU definitely could have used some QB spies when dropping 8 into coverage. User defending a scrabbling QB was a dicey proposition at best. FSU's QB was injured early, I would say most of the 21 FSU incompletions also ended with bone crunching QB hits. I am supprised his Second string qb made it through the game.

I learned this lesson long ago when Arkansas had legendary collegiate signal caller Michael Robbins. Some people don't pay attention to history I guess :)

Florida runs 48 plays to Mizzou's 24 and owns a 20-7 time of possession advantage yet still manages to lose by 39 points....

Another Classic in the Bayou Ends In 2 OT!

LSU had this one all wrapped up if they could just have gotten a first down inside the TAMU 30 with just over 2 minutes remaining. Instead, on a 2nd and 12, LSU Qb B. Walden threw his third interception of the day on a perfectly played comeback route by TAMU Cb Hancock, who had been abused all day and really all season on that very route, but jumped this one. B. Hopkins would lead the Aggies on their first significant drive of the day to tie it up with just 39 seconds to play and the TAMU defense held LSU out of scoring range.

In OT, LSU had their chance and a big scramble had LSU at the 2. But TAMU's defense rose up and forced an LSU FG. The Aggie offense did nothing with their possession and had to settle for tying the game. But then the Aggies got it first and drove inside the 1 before punching it in. The Bayou Bengals would respond with their own drive to give them a second and goal inside the 2, but again the Aggies defense would rise to the occassion for 3 downs in a row to seal the deal.

GG MexiRican35 I don't understand how you and I ALWAYS have games that come down to the final seconds, and you play Arkansas well but I just cannot play well against the Razorbacks. It makes no sense to me. Regardless, yet another classic!

I beat the crap out of the CPU but I lost my starting HB..... that's season ending injuries now to my top 2 HBs. So in the CCG I will have just 2 HBs on the active roster, if they get hurt or tired there will be the first fullback sighting in years at Missouri. :)

Judging by dates.... you have probably 2 more chances, maybe 3 before NCAA 14 :)
