1 Tenn HB Jeremiah Banks 302 att 1,500 yds 9 TDs

The Titans shipped out CJ to make this guy the number one pick and it paid off as he had a monster rookie season. While the Titans didn’t quite make it to the playoffs, future looks like in TENN.

    Boom

2 STL DT Jerome Evans 6 Tackles 1 TFL

With the 2nd pick, the Rams went interior to go along with their already talented front seven. Coaching changes throughout the season didn’t help the Rams and certainly didn’t help Evans as he was basically relegated to being a fat guy on the sidelines.

    Bust

3 BUF WR Brandon Yarborough 40 rec 750 yds 5 TDs

Buffalo just missed the playoffs in a very weak division and Yarborough showed some chemistry with out of retirement Kurt Warner, but who knows what next year will hold especially with Warner maybe retiring again. Decent rookie season, but nothing special.

    Neutral

4 CAR WR Tyrell Prendergast 35 rec 600 yds 6 TDS

Carolina had a tough season, but continues to play tough. CAR was hoping to add more playmakers for Cam with Prendergast, but didn’t factor enough. Very pedestrian rookie season although with some big play potential. Improving next year, Panthers could be explosive offensively.

    Neutral

5 DAL QB Daniel Romeo 16 TDs 17 INT 3,000+ yds 80.3 Passer rating

The Cowboys picked Romeo as the #1 qb in the draft, Cowboys were confident enough to trade Romo to the Vikings during the season and it paid off as Romeo without the big stats, has taken the Cowboys to the playoffs. Good rookie season for Romeo.

    Boom

6 BAL RE Rico Olaniyan 8 Tack 6 tFl 5 sacks

Baltimore went through a coaching change during the season, but that didn’t help. One of the premiere pass rushers coming out of the draft last year didn’t do much, but when he did, he got sacks. In limited time, he accumulated 8 tackles, but 5 of them sacks. So all wasn’t bad, he just doesn’t do anything else

    Neutral/Bustish

7 DET WR Walker Stream 63 rec 1,200 yds 12 tds

Detroit with Johnson, why need another receiver? Well it worked out and Stream exploded to give the Lions one of the most potent offenses in the league and in the playoffs (lost to WAS).

    Boom

8 SEA MLB Michael Jones 80 tak 5 tfl 2 sack 2 FF

Seattle coming in with a great defense led by Rookie Jones. Jones was all over the place and help lead the team to a 1st round bye in the playoffs. Great 1st year.

    Boom

9 NYG TE Brandon Boss 79 rec 1,450 10 tds

This guy a receiver or TE? Very rare do you see this type ability in a TE and the Giants got a good one with the 9th pick. Interesting to see what Manning and Boss can do next year.

    Boom

10 NYJ RE Jared Lee 3 tak Ya, dudes a bust

    Bust

    11 DEN LT Aaron Williams

Aaron Williams 3 pan 10 sacks Broncos after a slow start are headed to the playoffs and on a winning streak. The Broncos drafted Williams to solidfy the line and really, he didn’t allowing 10 sacks and just 3 pancakes. When you got a good defense and running game, who needs pass protection.

    Bust

12 SD RE Quan Baker 29 Tak 10 TFl 2 sack 1 FF

After a playoff appearance last year, SD didn’t make it this year in a tough AFC, Quan Baker had a decent rookie season accumulating 10 TFLs and 2 sacks, expected more out of Baker with this draft pick

    Bust

13 ARI CB Vincent Ordiales 32 tack 3 tfl 2 int

ARI didn’t have a good year and drafting Vincent to play the otherside of Peterson didn’t really work out. While showing some abilities, didn’t help the Defense as expected.

    Bust

    14 KC QB Colten Furr 3/7 40 yds 1 int 0 rating

Manning as QB, didn’t get to play much so reserve right to judge later on. He does have 1 int in 7 throws.

    Neutral

    15 STL ROLB Herman Thompson 69 tak 7 tfl 1 sak 2 int 1 ff 1 TD

This was the 2nd pick for the Rams in the 1st round and much better than their 1st. Herman was able contribute and causing a few turnovers and making plays. Bright future for the Rams if they can get Evans going.

    Boom

    16 CLE ROLB Graham Abram80 tak 14 tfl 1 sak 3 int 1 TD

The Browns had an up and down year, but have some young talent they can build on. Abram is one of them making plays and help building a young defense. Outlook is good for Browns.

    Boom

    17 CHI C T.J Gbor 1 pan 2 sack Lineman eh

    Neutral

18 SF CB Jaquante Jackson 13 tackles 1 ff

Niners typically play tough, but had a down year this year. They hoped to improve their already strong secondary by drafting Jackson, but Jackson didn’t contribute much at all. Hopefully next year will be better with a defense like the Niners

    Bust

19 JAC MLB Dyron Sullivan Nothing!

After Trading MDJ, there was really no hope for the Jags and no future as well. Then adding a 1st round pick that didn’t absolutely nothing, Jags are not going to be so good in the future.

    Bust

20 KC TE Terrell Burchetter 55 rec 700 Yds 2 tds

This is the 2nd pick for KC in the 1st round. Burchetter played very well in connection with Manning, but will Manning retire? Burchetter success will dependent on how the young Furr plays assuming Manning is gone

    Neutral

21 MIA LE Shawn Parker 34 tak 12 tfl

6 sacks The Phins didn’t have a good year, but their rookie LE did with 34 tackles and 6 sacks. If anything is looking for, it is him, hopefully they can build.

    Boom

22 NE DT Donnor Robinson 18 tak

The Pats just barely made the playoffs without the help of their #1 pick, Robinson has been a disappointment in limited time and they will need him to be an impact player if they want to succeed in the playoffs.

    Bust

23 TB TE Antonio McKenzie 56 rep 850 yd 1 TD

With some coaching changes during the year, the Bucs didn’t do so well, but Mckenzie had a big rookie season. With more talent and consistency in the coaches, could be an impact player on a good team

    Boom

24 GB HB Blake Unsell 23 car 136 yds 1 td

The Packers went with Starks as their back and Unsell rarely got on the field. In a pass first offense, not sure if Unsell will get a chance

    Bust

25 SF WR Jameel Sommerfield 50 rec 800 yds 6 tds

Decent year for Sommerfield in an underachieving team. With already a crowded receiving corp, the rookie was able to get 50 catches and 800 yards in his rookie season which is good. As the Team matures, good things may come out of Sommerfield.

    Boom

26 PHI RG Jaren Wallace 6 pan 4 sack Lineman, bleh

    Neutral

27 OAK CB Mike Odle 40 tak 2 tfl 5 int 1 ff

The Raiders looked to improve their secondary and did so slightly with the help of Odle who was given the assignment to cover the #1 receivers and delivered with a great rookie season and 3rd in the rookie of the year voting.

    Boom

28 CIN HB Justin Rand 6 car 13 yds 1 td

Who needs this dude when you got MDJ. He in JAx now??

    Bust

29 NO RT Sam King 0 0 Lineman, bleh. Didn’t do anything

    Bust

30 PIT LE Oscar Sims 0s

The Steelers have a tough defense even without Sims. Sims didn’t do anything this year so he is a bust. Maybe next year.

    Bust

31 IND HB Algernon Nelson 261 car 1400 yds 21 tds

With an explosive offense ran by Luck, Nelson delivered running his way to Offensive ROY honors, steal of a pick this late in the round.

    Boom

32 MIN WR Leighton Mills 20 rec 230 yds 1 td

In a run heavy offense like the Vikings, there wasn’t much of a need for a WR and there wasn’t much of a need for Mills

    Bust

Yes, this is ugly, i couldn't get the table code thing since its too complicated, tried to cut and paste from word, the borders and format didnt move over. So im just gonna have to clean it up later.

So read if you like, if you dont like what i said about your rookie, do one yourself.

Most of Boss' production came before I took over. He won't produce like that next season.

I would give Jaquante a "neutral" if only because I just couldn't get him on the field much. While the Niners had a down year, the defense played well in just about every game.

Jameel started as the #3 receiver and overtook Mario Manningham for the #2 spot. He should continue to develop and create a potent 1-2 with Crabtree who also had a breakout year.

The Jets pick (#10) was surely a bust. This is just a case of not following directions. The guy was clearly slated as a 4-3 lineman and I went for him. That's right folks, scheme is very important. If anyone is interested, look him up. If he fits for you, let's work something on the cheap!

Here's to hoping my first rounder is not a bust next draft.

Great and unique content here man, I enjoyed reading all of it. Jones was definitely a boom, he brings the hard hitting mentality we preach in Seattle. Hopefully he can sport a ring in his rookie debut season as well.

Nice work man. This took some time and you did a great job. I definitely liked Banks at the top of the list. :)

My 1st rounded was absolutely a flop. With a 40 time that is surpasses by residents of Golden Years Nursing Home, he just never stood a chance in the NFL.
