Red Wolves fall to Aggies in PapaJohn's.com Bowl

The Red Wolves started off this season with a loss to Texas A&M and finished their season with the same result. In the rain the Red Wolves were outmatched by the Aggies who started off sluggish but poured it on in the end. The final score 45-10 Aggies. Coach Sabo had this to say after the game

"Well i would have like to have won this bowl for ASU and leave on a winning note however that wasnt in the cards today. We played our hearts out and never gave up and in the end I can say we tried our best and were beat by a better team. Im very proud of our guys for all we have accomplished in my 2 years here at ASU. I feel that they will continue to be a force within the sun belt conference and things are definatlely on the rise here at ASU. Thank you to all of my players and the university of Arkansas State for this opportunity."

Aztecs Win Armed Forces Bowl, Sending Coach E Out on a Good Note

San Diego State 37 vs. UCF 20

The San Diego Aztecs took it to the UCF Knights in Coach E's last game as head Coach of the Aztecs. "It's been a great two years here," said Coach E, "I think we've shown everyone what kind of program the Aztecs are going to have in the years to come. Two bowl victories in two years, and now a top-10 recruiting class. This school has bright years ahead of it. With that being said, I am very excited to be heading to Charlottesville and taking over as the head coach of the Cavaliers."

Ryan Lindley had an exceptional game in his final game at quarterback for the Aztecs. And Sophomores Dontrell Onuahu and Bryce Quigley each had exceptional games.

UNLV Pulls One Out in 3OT

UNLV, who was already playing their 3rd string QB (who was the #4 WR) trailed early and often. The run game was working pretty well but they couldn't open the O up too much with a WR at QB. To make things worse, the Rebels lost THAT QB to injury and were down to their number 4 QB (the #2 WR) but he managed to help lead the Rebels back to tie it late. Both Os made quick work in all 3 OTs of the defenses but UNLV scored their 2 point conversion and shut down WSU's. All WSU had to do was pass but for some reason, they ran a read option that was shut down, sending Coach distrktFIVE off into the sunset victoriously.
