Not sure what else I can do, hopefully it's really off even though it says that. It's off in the settings, even when I go back and check.

Illinois comes from behind to win the ticket city bowl over Tulsa

The illni started off strong stopping the hurricanes on three straight poessissions while kicking a 27 yard field goal and scoring a td on HB Youngs 4 yard run. A missed extra point was the only negative in a good opening quarter for the illni. 9-0 end first. Tulsa got hot using there hurry up spread option and scored 10 points to grab a 10-9 lead mid second. After throwing back to back picks QB Scheelhaase finally lead a scoring drive as Duvernois connected from 40 yards out giving the illni a 12-10 halftime lead. The third was all about defense as both teams traded field goals. Late third the game swung illinois way as CB Hawthorne picked off his second pass of the game in the endzone and returned it 103 yards to put illnois up 22-13 with 40 seconds left in the third. Illnois added a 42 yard field goal with 6 minutes left for the final scoring off the game. The illni defense gave up over 300 yards but stiffened when they had to while forcing three turnovers. final score 25-13 Illinois

    STATS

    QB Scheelhasse 14 of 30 186 yards 0 tds 2 picks

Wisconsin rebounds to take Sugar Bowl with convincing 49-28 win over Arkansas

It was the James White show as he dominated this game early and often. After two short TDs early, White then broke off a 74 yard score with just under 2 min to go in the half. The run already put him over 150 yards for the game. He tacked on a 4th TD in the 2nd half and ended the game with 187 yards. Phillips spread the ball out well and threw for over 200 yards and 3 scores for himself.

The defense dominated the game for 7 sacks but was unable to catch any INTs when given opportunities.

A win in the Sugar Bowl is a cap to a good season but expectations were higher and the team is not pleased with 3 losses

I don't know about game winning...almost a min left and I had a TO and only need a FG when I got the ball back, I've won games with worse odds. gg though we were evenly matched the difference in the trenches was VERY apparent. I don't think I've seen my defensive line get man handled like that since playing Wisconsin lol.

still would have rather seen my defense get a chance to make the stop though. It was a great game though, 4 lead changes I believe? Well, looks like it's time to start a new era without Denard Robinson. Should be interesting.

Yeah your defense was tough but I was really feeling good about my chances with a min left and a time out. I got excited when I was able to hit stick your RB out of bounds to save that timeout.

In my eyes this game really showed me I did the right thing going after so many defensive recruits this year. My front 7 just can't hold up in the trenches vs the better teams. You were gashing me even when I had 7 and 8 in the box but was able to contain many of my runs with only 6. Going to be interesting to see how this matchup pans out of over the years.

    Back to Back BCS Champions

Georgia Tech caps successful season with win over Michigan.

    Georgia Tech 35
    Michigan 34

The running game wears teams down. The defense changes games. Only one was needed for Georgia Tech's second national championship.

Heisman winner Marcus Wright ended his career with countless awards and accolades but he finished it with the best one yet. Wright became only the third running back to win the Heisman and National Championship in NCAA history.

"Dynasty" said Marcus Wright, the Heisman Trophy winner who ran for 189 yards and one score.

In the short span of two years, Coach Natural has taken a program that had drifted far from what it had been and brought it back to championship caliber.

Michigan drove down the field completing a 28 yard pass to put them in FG range. One first down could end it all but the Tech defense finally rose up with a stop forcing Michigan RB Vince Smith out of bounds with 55 seconds left. Michigan lined up for the go ahead score but it was not to be as the kick fell well short and right of it's target.

The Yellow Jacket win brought a second consecutive title back to the ACC.

Tech won despite a mediocre 14-for-25 passing night from Syngin Days. He finished with 4 TD's but also threw 2 interceptions.

"I was so happy to leave my heart out there for the team, and blood, sweat and tears," Wright said. "many said I was wearing down but I wanted to show them how strong I could finish."

The new coach told the fans they'd have to let go of the expectations of the past if they were going to enjoy the future.

They believed, and now they have a coach who has become only the 3rd coach in NCAA history to win two BCS titles.

"It's the whole work ethic, the mental thing, toughness, all the intangibles you'd like to see in players so they can be the best they can be," Natural said.

The Georgia Tech faitful would agree.

#10 UVA wins Champ Sports bowl over ND 44-41 in OT. After Coach Duke had a solid seasons with his Cavaliers bringing them to a bowl game and able to win it he feels that a lot more people will become interested in UVA talent wise. Rocco will be returning as well most of the defense is coming back as well. UVA is filled with youngsters and we hope that when they become seniors they will be a force to reckon with.
