Week 2 biggcoug65 ryty32 This week in Hard Knocks gives us a match-up of the San Francisco 49ers and the Cleveland Browns. Both coming off victories in week 1. The Browns defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, 31-21 and the 49ers beat one the newest Head Coaches to join HK, the Green Bay Packers, 31-28. The 49ers did a great job on stuffing the run. They held the Pack attack to under 50 yards. Aaron Rodgers was able to throw on the 49ers D for 273 yards but also gave the boys from the bay 2 interceptions. Frank Gore pounded 102 yards and a score on just 13 carries. The rookie from Georgia, Harold Barnes dashed for 77 yards and a score on 5 carries. So the 49ers have a potent rushing attack. The 49ers have shocked many by benching the former overall #1 pick, Alex Smith for Colin Kaepernick out of Nevada. Kaepernick had a middle of the road day while only missing 3 incompletions with 1 TD and 1 INT for 179 yards. The Browns were outgained on offense by the Jags. However, the Browns evened that out by forcing 3 key turnovers. The Jags were not able to capitalize in the red zone as they went 2-2 but both coming by way of field goal. The old man from Oklahoma State lead an efficient offensive attack as he did not turn the ball over and tossed for 229 yards and 2 TD. The Jags did limit TR to just 78 yards rushing. CA's Corner:Both teams have good rushing attacks. The Browns feature the stud from Alabama in Trent Richardson. The 49ers come with a 2 headed monster in Gore and Barnes. I think Weeden is ready to make the next step and Kaepernick isn't the answer. The Browns force some early turnovers which result in the 49ers having to turn to the passing game too early, too often. My Prediction:24-38 How do you see it? Vote and Comment!
