    Match Stats
    Swansea | Tottenham
    4 Goals 2
    14 Shots 10
    8 Shots on Target 7
    60 Possession 40
    19 Tackles 13
    1 Fouls 3
    1 Yellow Cards 0
    3 Offsides 0
    3 Corners 3

Good game MoonBBad Tottenham's speed down the flanks was tough to deal with, and Moon was really able to create some chances with it. I believe the yellow card was Williams pulling back on the jersey trying to keep up and Bale still got away. Not looking forward to the trip to White Hart Lane!

Just wanna check before I enter, are the goal scorers the first listed or second? I like those icons but it's confusing the way they are pointing.

Sorry, goal scorers are first, assists are 2nd. I can put the assists separately if its easier to read. I just started doing it like this because I thought it was nice to see who assisted which goal.

Nope, as long as I know I don't care how you list it. Maybe just space them out a little more.

First win for Lyon, respect goes out to the Newcastle United Manager mcyork he tried his hardest to bring his team back in it. Lyon did what they had to do to win it after coming back from a early Demba Ba goal. Briand took over as Talisman and scored a bomber and two assist for Man of the match. Next for Lyon, first home game against the Russians, Rubin Kazan.

Tottenham came out sluggish and it showed letting up an early goal to Aston Villa. The manager at half let into the lads and changed up somethings in the attack which paid off. Adebayor was able to get the scoring going early due to a beautiful cross by Lennon to level the score. Modric was able to get the go ahead goal in stoppage time to give Tottenham the victory.

    Great game steve kotzen

Good game as always elprez98 My 2nd and 3rd goals were pretty shitty, just lucky bounces coming back to my guys in the box to put me 1 on 1 with the keeper. Really changed the game, as Clutch had to go attacking after the 3rd one, and it really opened up space for the 4th. In all reality Marseille could have snuck a draw out of this one up until the 82nd minute... They had some dangerous chances to equalize.

    Ryzantsev 58

Kasaev :assist: :assist: ..... Gouffron :assist:

Great start for Rubin with a good performance in a win over plucky bordeaux. Despite several missed opportunities first half, a breakaway saw kasaev cross for martins to head home. Ryzantsev then smashed home after a header out from a corner then martins again headed in another kaseav delivery for a 3-0 lead and surely the game. Diabate scored 2 minutes from time for a consolation for the french side

Lyon Started with a sniper like strike from Jimmy Briand to start off the scoring, Then Gomis took another powerful shot past the Kazan Keeper, and Briand again took to finish it off, Lovern and Crew kept Kazan off the board and Lyon starts the season with a Solid 2-0 and a plus 6 Goal Difference.

Here is Briand's first goal. Goal of the year material here...

    :goal:Demba Ba:assist:H. Ben Arfa

    :trophy:F. Coloccini

Wow Coach York and the Newcastle Magpies pull the upset today by beating host Lille and Coach RynoAid 1-0. NUFC possessed the ball 55% of the game and made 100% of their shots on the day 1 for 1 thats all it took well that and a lot of prayer as the Toon had trouble moving up the field. We bottled up Hazard for most of the game but Lille had a few chances that bounced off the post and Coloccini had some very timely clearances. The pressure Lille put on in the last 15 min was sick. Good game Ryno I was wondering if I would get the chance to write one of these up in this league.

gg. wasn't my night... 10 shots to 1 and I couldn't put one home. Regardless, we did not play well at all and it's concerning. GG York congrats.

Good game, MasterCollin. Probably one of the best games I've played in a while as it seemed like we could do no wrong. The team played well as a whole, holding PSG to only 2 shots while creating 15, 11 of which were on target.

Game between two great teams ends in Lyon's Favor at White Hart Lane. Two goals by Gomis and another by Briand that continues his scoring streak in three straight games. Tottenham gets one back by a corner header by Adebayor. But it wasn't enough time to conitnue as Lyon continues being undefeated in league.

Good game RynoAid. LOSC led in the shots statistic 15 to Tottenham's 9 however, of those 15 only 6 were on target which was tied with Tottenham's 6 on target. LOSC had the edge in possession as well 51% to 49% for the Spurs. At the end of the day this came down to one of the teams making a good play and today it was Tottenham's Adebayor who was able to finish a beautiful through ball from van der Vaart to give the Spurs the victory.

gg... frustrating start for Lille. I feel like we have been right there in both games to deserve at the very least a draw... but right now we cannot finish.

Great game with steve kotzen. Bordeaux started out hot, but Aston Villa came on strong at the end of the 1st half and beginning of the 2nd. The final 10 minutes were furious but the game ended in a draw.

    Swansea City 0-1 Lille

    LOSC Lille
    :goal:41' Hazard

    :assist:Sow
    :trophy:Basa

    Swansea City

Lille gets back on track with a gritty performance against a game Swansea City club. The game was played close to the vest the whole way.... only 13 total shots on goal combined saw City hit the post twice in the early going. This had to be disappointing to their coach and it seemed Lille was starting to get some chances. Lille played very physical but clean. With 31 tackles to City's 15, they clearly were the aggressor and attacked the futbol.

The goal came on a break away.. Sow ended up in space on the wing and swung in a short cross to a wide open Hazard who put it home with a nice, controlled header.

GG Timpegoose , it was nice to be on the other side of a close game like this.
