How did you do week 1? Ole Miss signed a couple guys:

    :4stars: #11 OLB Shane Weber - 6'6" 226 lbs - Brownfields LA - Signed With: Ole Miss - ovr rk: 11 - run stopper rk: 12 - coverage rk: 11
    C+ SPD/ C- AGI/ D- AWR/ B- STA/ B INJ/ B- STR/ D- CTH/ C- JMP/ C TAK/ C- PRC/ C+ PMV/ C FMV/ B- BSH/ B- PUR/ B- HPW/ PRS/ C+ ZCV/ C MCV/
Weber is a Louisiana native who we have rated exactly where the game rates him... That's kind of rare. But always nice to get a top 15 linebacker. I think he may have a future at defensive end...

    :4stars: #19 ATH Kyle Coleman - 6'3" 210 lbs - Terrytown LA - Signed With: Ole Miss
    C+ SPD/ C AGI/ D AWR/ B STA/ B- INJ/ D- STR/ B- THP/ D BTK/ D- BCV/ D CTH/ D- RTE/ D- CIT/ D- RBK/ D- PBK/ D- TAK/ D- PRC/ F BSH/ F PUR/ D- HPW/ D- ZCV/ F MCV/
I don't "rank" athletes since there's so little information on them, this guy looks like he will be a QB. I thought his arm was a B, so I'm disappointed to see here it's a B-. Unless he has a supremely accurate arm, he can probably kiss his shot at a roster spot goodbye.

I'd rather not post my signee lol...

I get the specifics later. 3 star olb...pretty much blows. Only good note on him is he is 6'7. maybe passes will hit him in the face. Otherwise he is useless

I guess this guy is a RB. Can't really tell since the rating categories are limited. I just wasted 10 min on him and threw him a scholly. He had A SPD and B ACC. I suppose by the time he's a junior or senior we can have some use for him.

we signed a 3* T, nothing great, but he had us at like 70%...felt obligated to throw him a 10 min scholarship offer...and he signed as expected

Very solid blocking fullback with nice bulk

    :3stars: #46 MLB James Johnson - 6'4" 240 lbs - Troutdale OR - ovr rk: 44 - run stopper rk: 48 - coverage rk: 31

Nice opening salvo by Oregon State, if only not to be spending a lot of minutes on average players henceforth.

    =============== #1 Penn State Nittany Lions (1-0) ===============

True kind of.....I wanted the QB that insta-signed but the other 3 I didn't put any time into. I am going after specific needs and 3 superstars on offense. I don't want to go crazy cause I only have 13 seniors leaving for sure. I hope to be signing less than 20 this year.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it so much if they don't have Penn State #1 or #2 then I am probably not going after them

Finally get a commit, and he is almost not worth posting... Everyone else on our board is a :4stars: though, so we could end up with a really good class.

    TE(#54) :2stars: JUCO (JR)
    6'1 231lb Keller, TX
    Anthony Pace
    Speed: B
    Accel: B+
    Agility: C
    Catch: B+

We lose 2 Seniors at TE, but have a good Freshman on campus right now. Pace will come in and provide depth at the position. Coaches like his pass catching ability and his blocking, but his size isnt ideal. Utah is also working on another :4stars: TE which puts Pace into a sort of "fallback" category. If that incoming TE falls through he could see meaningful playing time.

FINALLY got our 1st recruit on board.

    :4stars:KYLE DEAN, 5'9", 172lbs, Stephenville, TX
    KEY RATINGS- A- ACCEL/ B+ SPD, AGILITY, JUMPING/ B ZONE, PRESS
---This slight of stature CB is one tough SOB. From Texas, this 5'9" CB has the skills to be a top CB in the nation. I think his height maybe a bit of a hinderance but he has good speed and has solid ball skills (C- catch). Him being able to press is interesting to me, because he's so small but he's so good at being a bump and run type CB that we are very intrigued by him.

    G(#8) :4stars:
    6'5 293lb Crab Orchard, WV
    Johnny Haynes
    A+ Acceleration

Utah reaches across the country and snags a highly-touted country-boy. He is big and athletic. Coach Max is trying to build up his offensive line this season, and is still pursuing another G and T to round out this class. Haynes has an explosive first step for a big-ugly and will wreak havoc when pulling on run plays.

In sadder news, another cross-country recruiting effort failed when Utah lost out on an incredible :4stars: OLB to VT. The home-state pull was just too strong for this guy.

Also, Utah invited 6 :4stars: to the Rivalry game vs BYU this week. Les hope they were impressed with the beat down.

Excellent Week for the Utes. Many of the prospects (all ranked in the top 10 at their positions) that were on campus for the "Holy War" were impressed enough to sign on the dotted line.

    QB(#10) :4stars:
    6'4 191lb Coconut Creek, FL
    Josh Goode
    C+ Speed, Acceleration
    C Agility, Break Tackle
    B THP
    B- THA

Goode looks good. A red shirt would be ideal for this kid. He has the size and mobility you look for in a "QB of the future". Looks a lot like the Freshman QB we already have on campus only bigger and faster. His arm isnt the best in the world, but after a few years in the Utes All-World facilities ;) he could be a monster. Also he is from Florida, so that helps his case and Utah's pipelines.

    HB(#10) :4stars:
    6'0 204lb Perry, OK
    Ryan Grier
    B Speed, Acceleration, Spin, Juke
    B- Agility, Trucking
    C+ Strength

This sad soul had to grow up in Oklahoma... That alone is reason enough to offer him a scholarship that would take him to the other side of the country, but his frame and skill-set are pretty good too. Utah has a good corps of running backs at the moment, but are losing a Senior and could possibly lose their Bell-Cow (Palamo) after his Junior year. We recruited a lean, speed-burner type in the offseason last year and Grier seems like the perfect compliment to him. Coach Max is always a fan of backs with decent speed/accel/agility that are booked as "Power" backs. Snatching him from Tammy doesnt hurt either.

    CB(#10) :4stars:
    5'11 177lb Muskegon Hts, MI
    Justin Carpenter
    A- Accel
    B+ Speed
    B Jump, ZCV, Press
    B- MCV, PRC, Pursuit, Agility

Utah, who has had issues with the coaches in their traditional pipeline states, continues their Coast-to-Coast recruiting philosophy with the signing of Carpenter. He isnt the biggest, fastest, or strongest Corner on Earth but he looks really solid. Utah loses 2 Seniors at the position so he could see time as the Nickel back his first year.

    MLB(#8) :4stars:
    6'3 230lb Durango, CO
    Jamar Shelton
    B+ Hit Power
    B Pursuit
    B- Speed, Tackle, PRC

MLB has been a position of need for the past 2 season at Utah. They landed a 4 star both times so the two-deep is shaping up nicely. Shelton is big, athletic enough, and most importantly he is a solid tackler. Coaches like his size and speed combo. Possible redshirt candidate as there are 2 youngsters ahead of him.
