    Colorado 10 #17 Ole Miss 6

Tough defensive game today between the rebels and buffaloes. The rebels opened the scoring late 1st with a 28 yard field goal. The only other score was a 3 yard td run by Jones to give colorado a 7-3 halftime lead. The teams traded second half field goals with ole miss getting theres mid third and colorado late third. Colorado led 10-6 through three and that would be the final score. The story of the game was colorado's defense, forcing three turnovers(2 picks) and collecting 9 sacks. Ole Miss QB Wallace had a rough game getting knocked out once in the second half.

    STATS

    Hirschman 12 of 17 174 yards 1 interception
    Jones 15 rushes 60 yards 1 td

Southern Miss advantage of Baylor QB off night.

In what is becoming a rivalry game Southern Miss comes out on top. Baylor won the coin toss in the game and decided to give Southern Miss first shot at the end zone and the Golden Eagles were glad to oblige scoring a TD on their first drive of the game. On the pursuing Baylor drive the Bears held true to their nature and went off on the Eagle defense with a passing barrage that left the USM defense scratching their heads as they walked off after a scoring drive that ended up with Baylor scoring on a 17 yard TD pass to WR Corey Coleman. But the Southern Miss offense wasn't impressed and answered the TD with a TD of their own taking advantage of a mountain of a QB 6'4 226 LBS A Favor. Favor read the defense correctly and crossed the goal line after a 34 yard run on read option play.

The second quarter both teams traded FG's as Baylor kicked 1 and USM kicked 2 seeing the Golden Eagles sneak into half time with a 20-10 lead.

But the second half was a different story and that story was all Southern Miss. The USM defense was all business in the second half shutting the Bears out while their offense once again began to find the end zone putting up another 20 points and walking away with a 40-10 victory. Some of the highlights from the USM offense came in the form of a 32 yard TD pass from Favors as he hooked up with WR Triplett and backup RB J Hester breaking out a 42 yard run to put the final nail in the Baylor coffin.

    Southern Miss
    QB A Favor 8-10 for 108 yards passing and 2 rushing TD's.
HB K Hardy 13 rushing attempts for 55 yards.
HB J Hester 4 carries for 44 yards 1 TD.
WR M Triplett 1 TD Catch for 32 yards.
QB A Favor spread the ball out nicely keeping the Bears D guessing hooking up with 6 different receivers.

    Baylor
    QB B Petty 11-29 175 yards 1 TD 3 INTS
    QB S Russel 3-8 34 yards 1 INT
HB L Seastrunk 10 carries for 37 yards
WR L Norwood 4 catches for 93 yards
WR T Reese 4 cathes for 55 yards

    Another good game Cam.

    Southern Miss 31
    UMass 0

    Southern Miss pitches a shutout.

On what Umass could see was probably going to be a day from the opening kickoff as Southern Miss kick off specialist Kindrick Hardy took it 100 yards for the first score of the game. From that point on it was a struggle for an overpowered Umass team coming in with the worst team and player ratings in the dynasty and probably NCAA 13. When asked for a comment at the end of the game Coach QB's only comment was "UMass is a team that is being built by a Coach that is very capable of taking on the task and will be a contender sooner than later."

    Stats
    QB A Favor 7 for 7 59 yards 1 TD
HB K Hardy 16 attempts for 78 yards
HB J Hester 10 attempts for 77 yards 42 yard TD run.
WR D Sullivan 2 catches for 27 yards.
Passes were also completed to 4 other USM Receivers.

    UMass
    QB K Pagel 5 of 15 for 51 yards 4 INT's
HB J Jones 7 attempts for 34 yards
HB D Brown 5 attempts for 25 yards

*** This was our second attempt as we were disconnected during our first game. That game was 10-7 in the 3rd. Much better game.

Again good game Roy look forward to playing you again and seeing the UMass squad grow.

    Oregon 23 colorado 14

Tough game for colorado as oregon was to much for the buffaloes. Colorado keep it close all game but was never able to get the lead. The QB struggled completing 11 of 25 passes and 3 interceptions. HB Jones had a great game running for 100 yards and a td. Colorado fell to 1-2 on the young season and have to turn it around quickly to avoid a setback after going 9-4 last year.

Memphis leaves Hattiesburg with beaten and battered after black and blue bowl.

USM is very happy with their rivalry victory even against a down Memphis Tiger squad. Memphis came to Mississippi with big hopes of turning their schedule around but the Golden Eagles were having none of this. Southern Miss jumped on the Tigers early and never looked back. Coach QB kept his play calling pretty much 50/50 riding the surprising play of junior QB A Favor. Favor is playing with surprising accuracy went 11 for 15 for 159 yards. Only problem was that he threw his 1st interception of the year trying to force a play at the end of the first half. The Eagles running game was as expected still very effective from the play of RB's Hardy and Hester.

    USM Stats
    QB A Favors 11-15 159 yards 1TD 1INT
    RB Hardy 22 carries 90 yards 2TD
RB Hester 9 carries for 40 yards
Seven different receivers caught passes for the Southern Miss squad.

Memphis never even sniffed the end zone so their stats are not worth typing.

    FIU - 42
    Indiana - 35

FIU, a team from the Sun Belt, forces 7, nope read it again, 7 turnovers in the first half and a huge lead. Indiana scores like 3 touchdowns late to make it close. I would like to thank derek , NYJuggalo45 , TN_Mike , and Michael Woodward for being the reason for my broken controllers. Oh yeah also pnc , oh crap I mean tar heel .

lol. broken controllers are fairly common in this od.

Im all for adjusting sliders especially for user catching and user tackling. Ive getting abused on both fronts

You guys wanted it hard.....I should probably take all the user sliders to 5 and all the cpu sliders to 95

About 3 or 4 people doesn't constitute that everyone wanted it..

Edit: I could've sworn we voted on this before..

It seemed like it was more than 3 or 4. Somebody suggested it and it seemed like everyone else was like "yeeaaahhh! THAT!" or "I'm fine with that"

that was over a month ago, and before I had even played a single game of NCAA. I just said that I heard it was easy, so we should look into it. then I realized that Indiana sucks ball at everything.

eh, that was before i played the game, and i was the last one so i knew heisman wouldn't win.

But here's this.. I don't understand the notion behind "All-American is too easy", where only one user team went undefeated. Playing on Heisman is frustrating at times, especially on default. So the best possible solution is just doing adjustments to the sliders to create a balance between the player and the CPU. Yea, i know the game isn't supposed to be easy where a win is pre-determined everytime i play against the CPU, but the plays that are made by the CPU on heisman is extremely cheesy. I'll admit, i have to step my game up on the controllers, but a considerable amount of the time it's frustraitng because it feels no mattter what the offense will find a way to put great numbers against you. Just something to even out the playing field

I agree. As I said before, the more realistic results Juggs suggested with Heisman sounded exactly what we had happening. People winning in the last second, I beat OU because I recovered a dropped shovel pass that was for some reason ruled a fumble in the end zone for a TD, then held and threw a 99 yard TD pass on 3rd down, then got an onside kick and scored again within like 3 minutes left of the game. I know TN Mike won a bunch of close ones. Several people lost including me. And the notion that "well this team shouldn't beat that team by that much" is moot because it really depends on who is coach of that team. If Nick Saban coached Texas State and Bill Callahan coached Alabama, I beat Texas State wins. I mean shit, App State beat Michigan. I was given shit for beating Eastern Michigan 35-0 when Kansas beat Nebraska in 2007 like 76-21 (No not rubbing it in Tom and Jared, making a point)....You can't tell me Nebraska isn't better than Eastern Michigan. And remember, I've been All American all along. I got tired of complaints and those with the preseason votes and everyone asking about it made it seem like majority so I switched it using sliders that were suggested as very realistic and only tweaked a few things which was only field goal accuracy because I've never seen the CPU miss a field goal unless they were 60 yards out and it was just short.

i remember tarheel giving me flack for beating oklahoma in the first game..it was by 7.. I mean i understand upsets rarely happen.. but this is kind of a video game.. I didn't pick UMASS to go 2-10

I guess it would be best to experiment with sliders until some middle ground. As previously stated it's not like Heisman produces more realism than All-American, and i knew you were reluctant to make the switch which made it confusing why you changed it suddenly. I think Operation sports has some good sliders to look at.

I'm serious when I say this....move it to Heisman default.

I know you adjusted the sliders some in favor of us. But maybe the sliders are broken? Or work in reverse? Both of which have happened in the past.

All I know is in another dynasty with Hellisan and Max, we are on Heisman default (with speed lowered to 40) and all took similar level teams to the ones we have in here, and it doesn't play as hard. You dont the the cpu RB breaking 47 tackles a game or every bad throw results in a pick.

I know someone said that playing an exhibition game isnt the same as a dynasty one. So can't even test my theory. I don't know how to explain it, but heisman default is not this bad

I think the final score was NWestern 45 / Buffalo 24. Final score doesn't really do the game justice as NWestern scored twice late to pull away from a back and forth game for like 3 1/2 qtrs.

Biggest factor in this game...Northwestern's QB is faster than every single player I have on defense. I am not exagerrating either. Early on I tried spying on him and after he rushed in his first of 3 TDs from like 25 yards out realized what's the point, the guy I am going to use to spy him can't keep up with him anyway. Only way I was going to win was to win the turnover battle and keep his team off the field.

Worked for alittle while, it was a 1 score difference with a bunch of lead changes. turning point was after we took a 24 - 21 lead, NWestern returned the kickoff for a TD. Never was able to come back from it as his defense played great and i think got 2 picks from that point on.

I'm going all off memory here, and money can do a better writeup if he wants as he won. Good game man, congrats. I need to start winning some of these close user games otherwise Buffalo is always going to be a shithole of a team with 3-4 losses every season

Just out of curiosity - If any one of you, as a user, is playing a team that is just as good as your squad (in OVR), how often do you think you should win? 50% of the time? More than that? I just want to know what people think their chances should be against equal competition controlled by the CPU.

Personally, I can't really answer this question right now, because I'm not sure. I know I'm a lot smarter than the CPU, and any screwjob I get is usually matched with the CPU screwing itself over (HB Screen with the HB hot routed to block, throwing the ball out of bounds 1 second after the snap, not running through holes, calling aggressive zones with a late lead, etc.), so I'm leaning towards >75%, but theoretically, the answer should be 50%.

I would say 75% too, but I know I make a lot of dumb mistakes, especially thinking that my QB can make throws like Eli Manning in the super bowl at times.
