Last year we shocked the league by playing way above everyone's expectations. We had a great season that was unfortunately ended with a controversial call in the playoffs. The offense led by Romo was fantastic and controlled the game while limiting turnovers. Found a breakout star in wr Brice Butler who took over the #2 spot from injury riddled Twill. On defense we were led by Orlando Scandrick and rookie Anthony Brown. Both players were apt at making plays on the ball and taking possessions away.

This year were back down to last year expectations. With Tony Romo retiring we are handing the reigns to 2nd year qb Dak Prescott. We will have to see how far he grows in the role, but we can't put pressure on him by expecting him to play as well as Romo did last year. Our offense brings back everyone else which should help abbreviate some of pressure on Dak. On defense we added a starting dt in the 7th round and depth in the secondary. Our defense played well last year and we expect it to carry over to this season.

Dak Prescott is clear cut number 1. Wanted to bring in some competition, but didn't have funds in fa and just wasn't a guy available where we're picking in the draft.

    Rb
    E. Elliott
    A. Morris
    D. Jackson
    G. Swaim
Zeke will look to build on his rookie of the year performance. He will be asked to take on even more of the offense load as the cowboys try to take pressure off Prescott. Morris will be the primary backup with Jackson getting a few carries as well.

    Wr
    D. Bryant
    B. Butler
    T. Williams
    L. Whitehead
    D. Ayers
Dez and Brice will look to build on their 1 2 punch they had going last year. Twill and Lucky will work the slot with Beasley shipped out in the offseason.

    Te
    J. Written
    H. Urbik
    G. Escobar
    J. Hanna
Witten returns as the number 1 te. Rookie te Urbik comes in and will take over the number 2 te as he learns from witten.

    Z. Martin
    L. Collins
    R. Leary
    T. Frederick

Probably the best rated unit in tmfl. We will see if they play like the brick wall they are supposed to be. This line should keep Dak clean and upright.

    DL
    D.lawrence
    T. Holmes
    B. Mayowa
    R. Gregory
    C. Tapper
    D. Searcy
    T. Crawford
    D. Lowery
    C. Thorton
    M. Collins
We added a starter late in the draft with Lowery who will step in next to Crawford at dt. Lawrence and Gregory will continue to take most of the snaps at de, but we will work Holmes and Searcy in to keep them fresh.

Jaylon Smith looks to build on his strong rookie campain. Sean Lee remains the leader of this group.

    O. Scandrick
    K. Williams
    A. Brown
    R. Dailey
    H. McNeill
    I. Wells
    B. Jones
    J. Heath
    J. Wilcox
    M. Canady
This group is our under the radar unit. Looking at it won't scare you, but when on the field they play really well together. Scandrick regressed a little in the offseason so we will have to see where we want him in nickel situations. Wilcox took over last year after church got hurt and never looked back. Jones is our best player in the secondary and might see some time at cb this year.

    Spt
    D. Bailey
    C. Jones
Great kicker and punter. Just depends how forgiving the meter is this season.
