Both of these teams came into Week 1, looking to answer questions. Questions about off-season moves, why did they do this? Why did they do that? How is that going to work if they got rid of him? How will it work by adding him to the roster? Well, no more questions! It was time to rumble, the Hard Knocks Season 2 had officially kicked off!

The Vikings would get the ball to start the game and the ball was put in Ponder's hands to lead us to victory. He lead a great first drive that was capped off by Adrian Peterson on an 8 yard run to give the Vikings their first lead of the year. Drew Brees would then get his turn except it wouldn't turn out to be as pretty. Brees stepped back in the pocket and tried to rifle it in but CB Brandon Burton was standing right next to the receiver. First interception for the freshly new Vikings defense. The Vikings would again punch it in, this time from 1 yard out. 14-0 and Mall of America field was going nuts! The NFC teams would match either for scores before going into the locker room, 21-7 Minnesota.

The Saints would go on a 10-0 run and it started to get ugly. However, we quickly calmed ourselves and AP ran for his 3rd touchdown of the ball game. 28-17 would be the score as Drew Brees took the field trying to mount a comeback. Husain Abdullah would halt that by intercepting his pass and giving the Vikes their first win of the year!
