Giants Run Circles Around the Wagons
Giants Silenced the Buffalo Crowd and Victory Expectations
    [IMG]
    42 - 31
Buffalo, NY - A battle of in-state opponents got even uglier this last week, as both coaching staff's exchanged blows to one another. Buffalo promised their fan base a victory, but the G-Men had something else to say about it. The Giants got on them early and quickly, skating out to a 28-0 lead and putting it on "Cruz" control. They nearly found themselves getting too comfortable with their lead, as Buffalo fought back and at one point was only down 28-24.
The Giants were able to rip off a few more scores, proving to be the better team in this context. HBs Ahmad Bradshaw and David Wilson set the tone, as both backs combined for 180 YDs and 3 TDs. On the receiving side, WR Greg Little had his breakout performance. After hearing criticism that the Giants made a terrible move in acquiring the 24 year old WR, whom likely would drop more passes than catches, he went out and yet again caught every one thrown his way. This time, 5 receptions for 64 YDs and a TD. WR Victor Cruz got the Giants faithful dancing as he tacked on 2 TDs on a 126 YD performance.
The Giants defense struggled to contain Spiller, but they were on the field quiet a bit throughout this contest, practically begging the offense to start maintaining some drives. JPP, Osi, Boley, and Greg Jones filling in for the injured Mark Hezlich kept the defense going. JPP and Osi made stellar plays at containment and getting a couple of sacks along the way. Boley and Jones each had 6 tackles a piece to keep the Buffalo offense in check.
The Giants winning streak continues, now at 5 straight games, and with two other important games yet to be played (Dallas v Philly, Washington v Carolina), the Giants are looking at a share of first place, awaiting the tie breaker. Next week, the Giants get their first meeting in an all too important game with the Dallas Cowboys, which will be their first of two contests in the next three weeks. The season winds down and the NFC East race continues to be a thriller.

"They are who we thought they were"
The Chicago Bears come out of hibernation to win 42-14 over the Vikings.
Chicago AP; The Bears Defense made an impression on Christian Ponder early, That impression was on the 8 yard line where Ponder was picked up by his lineman after DT Albert "Grizzlie Bear" Haynesworth smashed Ponder and the ball popped right into the hands of Stephen Paea who took it to the house from the 6 yard line to a early 7-0 lead. Tony Romo led the way on offense as he went 13-17 for 232 and 4 touchdowns. Matt Forte had 64 yards russing on 17 carries before he left the game in the 4th quarter with a pinched nerve in his neck. Michael Bush pounded the rock 9 times for 41 yards and a TD. Through the air it was Brandon Marshall who physically out matched the Minnesota DBs who hauled in 6 catches for 88 yards and a TD. Alshon Jeffery had 3 catches for 61 yards and 2 TDs on the day. Marshall and Jeffery have become the windy citiy's Batman and Robin as of late and it shows as Romo has found his groove. For the Vikings it was AP rushing for 77 yards and a TD, while the Minnesota Punter Chris Kluwe had a higher passer rating than Ponder should explain the outcome. Second year TE Rhett Ellison, the 6'5 250 lb out of USC was the bright spot for the Vikings as he had 3 grabs for 51 yards and a 20 yard run and catch for 6 points in the 3rd quarter. On Defense Julius Peppers harassed CP3 all day and had 3 sacks and the Bears had 3 take-aways. Coach Thirdalarm said in the post game conference "This is a big win for us as we lost quite a few games this season very late in 4th quarter, so we wanted to get on them early so I can get to the pub in time for happy hour".

Things Clicked for Titans as they defended their Home vs Broncos
    28-10
Titans vs Broncos, rematch from last years playoffs round 2. This year though Titans are facing dead last and trying to grind it out for some pride now. Coming into the game Titans had no faith in any aspect of their offense. Passing has been worst in coach bouncers history along with running. Defense has always been rock solid and they showed it today forcing 6 turnovers. 3 interceptions and 3 fumbles. Things started very shaky for Broncos as every drive in the first quarter was either a holding penalty or missed opportunities. Titans would strike first with a Kenny Britt TD on a nicely thrown ball. Titans D would continue to play stiff d and only give up a FG. This game may have been the break out performance for Chris Johnson as on one of the first plays on the next drive he would take it up the middle, follow some blockers, at first looked stuffed but somehow rolled out of it and dashed away in the dust. Coach Flyin would answer back with a perfect drive and a much needed one to keep them in the game and would cap it off with a TD Osweiler to Knox. This would conclude the half and Titans would have a lead of 14-10 with Broncos getting the ball. I believe this was the fumbled kick off return and it was picked up by Titans in the redzone. This TD was capped by another TD by Chris Johnson on a counter to the left. Titans would continue the Defensive rage and pitch a shutout in the 2nd half. Only other TD was a Chris Johnson td that racked him up to 3 on the day. Coach bouncer said after the game 'we have nothing but respect for coach Flyinhi2005 he is a great coach, makes the right calls to set his team up. Just couldn't capitalize in the opportunities today. I look forward to the next time we play as I know he will be looking for blood for these past 2 games'. Marvin 'Captain' Krunch was laying down the law in the first half as he had 5+ tackles through the first 8-9 minutes of the game. The big key to Titans success in the game was finding a way around 'Captain'.
    Todays Stats:
    Jake Locker 6/12 112 1 TD
    Brock Osweiler 13/33 265 1 td 3 int
Chris Johnson 12 rushes 119 yards 3 tds
Felix Jones 13 rushes 57 yards 1 fumble
Kenny Britt 3 rec 51 yards 1 td
Johnny Knox 6 rec 124 yards 1 td
Marvin Krunch 7 tackles 3 for loss
Von Miller 5 tackles 1 sack
    Kelvin Hayden 5 tackles
    Jordan Babineaux 3 tackles

    JETS 28 PATRIOTS 24
    [IMG]
    Sanchez/Boudreaux Lead Jets Past Pats
The Battle of the Jets and Pats just got bigger. With new coach @CA taking over for where Reb left off, the Jets and Patriots set for battle again this week. The first half was a low scoring 7-7, but the 2nd got very intresting. The Jets would go up 28-7 and think they had it under control after rookie Aerion Boudreaux punched another TD in. Sad thing is, You can't ever count BRADY out. Tom Brady marched them downfield to hit Wes Welker for another Td making it 28-14 in the 4th. All the Jets had to do was run the clock and pound the ball, but Coach Petty got too fancy. Petty tried running a screen to Boudreaux, but it was read easily by the Pats and forced Sanchez to throw a gutsy pick to Kyle Arrington who would score and put the Pats down by seven. Sanchez would hook up again with Arrington on the next drive for his second mistake. Luckily Arrington ran into his own player taking him down. Jets Defense stopped Brady to 4th and goal on the 2 where coach CA chose to kick the FG making it 28-24 with 2min left. Behind Aerion Boudreaux the Jets ran the clock out and won a nail bitter. Sanchez has looked better minus his late half mistakes, but the defense is giving up too much through the air and must go back to being a shut out defense. The Jets will former Patriots coach Reb who now coaches the Eagles. Tough love for Reb here in New York, unfortunately the game will be in Philly.

    10 - 31
The Dolphins improvised their record to 5-6 on the year as they defeated the Chiefs 31-10. The Chiefs entered the game with their fearless leader thegman2.0 who is still out of action as he waits for his PS3 to get fixed. None the less the Chiefs came to Miami looking to beat the Dolphins and provide incentive for Sporty to hurry back. But on this day it was the Miami offense that is starting to show small sign of life as they moved the ball effectively all day long. Tannehill threw for 157 yards and 2 TDs and more importantly 0 Ints. On the ground the Dolphins used a 2 headed attack as MJD rushed for 131 yards and a TD on 12 while Lamar Miller rushed for 98 yards also on 12 carries. For KC Jamaal Charles rushed for 78 yard on 11 carries but without a doubt the stars for the Chiefs will be rookie QB Kian McKenzie and TE Kevin Boss. McKenzie completed 22 of 37 attempts for 237 yards but unfortunately threw 2 picks. McKenzie favorite target on the day was clearly Kevin Boss as he caught 11 pass for 116 yards.

    Thanksgiving, a day to give
Lions give the game away with a fumble on the 1 yard line, Packers win Turkey Bowl 34-20

A game that went back and forth for 3 quarter and 14 minutes wasn't decided until a very late "Gift" from the Lions...

Matthew Stafford threw for over 300 yards... Aaron Rodgers threw for over 300 yards... But enough about that, lets move forward to the last minute of the game...

Detroit Lions, down 27-20 with just over 3:00 minutes to go... Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and rest of the Lions high powered Offense drive all the way down to the 1 yard line with just under 1 minute to go...

1st play a run up the middle gets stopped by AJ Hawk...

2nd play, it happened, Coach BigSmooth33 called an infamous Full Back dive, a play that was just re-instated this week by HK Commissioner BobJr , however, the Lions fullback fumbled the Ball!!! on the 1 yard line... Packer Defensive Lineman scooped it up and scampered 99 yards the other way for the game winning Touchdown.

Coach Smooth was quoted in the postgame presser:
    "I'm irate... That's fucking ridiculous"

Who knows how many more carries the Lions FB will get after that one

    Rams - 27
    Ravens - 17

This was a game where the Rams defense really carried the day because their offense struggled to find any real consistency. The big play of the game was caused by rookie sensation Shyquan Johnson who created a fumble that was scooped up by a DE and rumbled in for a TD. It was a 3-0 game in the Ravens favor and that play caused a huge swing in the momentum of the game. After that the Rams' secondary really limited the Ravens passing attack, with one major exception. Anquan Bolden was unstoppable. He ran around, through, and over my secondary. On one play in particular he ran through a CB, then through a Safety, and then injured another safety. It was pretty amazing to see.

The Ravens were down 24-17 and had the ball with a chance to tie, but on a key 4th and 7 play from their own 31 yard line, the Rams were able to jar the ball loose from Bolden and secure the win on a FG. It was a solid hard fought win for the Rams.

Madden basically ruined a fantastic game between me and BigSmooth33

There was really no ryme or reason for that fumble to occur on the 1 yard line like that... We hadn't had any fumbles throughout the rest of the game and neither Offense was really slowed down much all game...

Things like that piss me off because even though I won the game, I feel cheap for it happening the way it did...

Great Game again BigSmooth33 ... I was looking forward to having the chance at a game winning drive, but, "Skynet" had other ideas :(

Redkins defeat the CPU Panthers 24-10 on a solid game running the ball from Rookie HB Roderick Smith. Smith racked up 106 yards and a score on 20 carries. Robert Griffin III was efficient passing the ball and did not turn the ball over, finishing with 137 yards and two scores, one to Santana Moss and the other to Fred Davis. The Skins have a battle on their hands for the NFC East and will face Arizona this upcomin week.

The 49ers went into Tampa to play the defending NFC South Champs and escaped with a victory in a hard fought defensive battle. The Niners jumped out to an early 14-3 lead in the 1st quarter, the 1st TD on a 69 yard pass to Vernon Davis up the seam, then rookie punt return man Brandon Harris returned a punt 80 yards for a TD. In the 2nd quarter, the Niners had the Bucs pinned deep in their own territory and the Bucs ran a toss play but Doug Martin was tackled in the end zone by NaVorro Bowman for a safety giving the Niners a 16-3 lead which they took into the half. The Bucs would come back in the 3rd quarter and get a short TD run by Doug Martin to bring the score to 16-10. The Niners would add a FG in the 4th to make it a 2 score game and then let the defense take over. The Niners defense forced 4 turnovers, picking off Josh Freeman 3 times and forcing a fumble from Doug Martin.

Jaguars Take Firm Control of the AFC South
Dominate Andrew Luck And the Colts 31-3
Indianapolis, IN - This was a crucial AFC South matchup. At 8-2, the Jags would need just 1 more win to clinch their division if they won this game. At 5-5, the Colts would close the gap to 2 games if they were to win this game. Unfortunately, the Colts owner was unable to show up for the game leaving the Jags to play a poorly coached cpu team. Luck and the Colts were unable to do anything against the Jags defense. The Colts had -3 rushing yards. The Colts lone points came off of a turnover putting them in scoring position. On the other side, the Jags were able to pass and rush fairly well. RB Tobias Bray started well but got knocked out of the game. Ironically, it was perfect timing as the #2 overall pick, RB DeRay Ray, was in his first game back from an injury. Ray would go on to have a solid game and help lead the Jags to an easy victory.
