Season 2 Week 13 Summaries
UTEP vs #2 Stanford
The Stanford Cardinals win their game easily against The Miners of UTEP. Stefan Taylor was absolutely ridiculous. He rushed a season high 37 times for 299yds and 5 td's. He was just unstopable. Stanford scored 35 straight points to open the game, but when Coach Forever was about to substitute everyone to rest for a potential NC game, UTEP woke up from the dead. They made the game respectable, but in the end the Cardinal offensive was to strong for the Miners.
The win concludes the second straight undefeated regular season for the Stanford Cardinals. They are hopeful that they can get in the National Championship game, but believe that not having a game for two weeks will hurt their chances; especially with #3 Troy playing #7 MTSU. A win for Troy could caterpault them over us. Oh well, their is no reason crying over spilled milk; hope we have done enough to impress the BCS Gods, LOL!!!
La Tech Doesnt Capitalize on Early Opportunities
SMU giftwrapped the 1st qtr. Hung it up like a pinata. Did everything it could to turn its dream season into a nightmare. Apparently La Tech didnt get the memo. After a promising drive on La Tech's opening possesion ended with a missed FG, SMU took the field to show the people in attendence what a Top 5 team looks like. Ugh. Fumble on the second play. La Tech's offense sputters once again in Mustang territory and misses another easy FG. SMU takes the field once again and fumbles again, this time resulting from a RB getting greedy for those few extra inches. La Tech missed FG follows. Coach Onaradio34 decides to let the 1st string try it one more time, and the offense responded for a few nice 1st downs to flip field position. On 4th and short from the La Tech 35, the Mustangs for it but forgot to block the nose tackle who obliterates McNeal 2 yds in the backfield. At this point freshman QB Cohen is 1-10 passing and sits his ass on the bench. Behind Sr QB Mitchell the Mustangs go on to outscore La Tech 31-7 over the next 2 qtrs. The backups come in at the start of the 4th and hang another 14 by way of a 32 yd scoop and score fumble recovery and a 90 yd run by RB Butler.
SMU finished the regular season 12-0 and now awaits Memphis and Coach JerzyReign for the championship of Conference USA. If the game is held in Memphis Coach Onaradio34 has sweared to assassinate every member of the Conference USA rules and regulations board. (inside and long running dispute)
LMAO! I think C-USA owes it to me. I mean I do have some very embarassing photos of those in charge, lol.
See you soon honeybutt (*no homo*:HoosierHoo
Tigers Punch Ticket for CCG
Marshall(AP)- In a game with huge conference power at stake the Memphis Tigers proved they wanted it more. After a slow first half the Tigers got things working in the second half to pull away, 34-16 over #17 Marshall.
After a quiet first quarter (Memphis would put up 3) Marshall would wake up and point the game's first touchdown on the board as their HB D.Marshall would get in from two yards out.
Memphis would put together an impressive drive but would have to settle for another FG. Marshall too would put together another drive but their's to would end like Memphis' previous drive. So at the half Marshall had a 10-6 lead and the momentum.
But Memphis defense, ever since Coach Jerzey took over, would step up once again in the second half. The Tigers would get their ground game going and bust this game wide open as they put up 14 points in the 3rd quarter to go up 20-10 heading into the fourth.
"That 3rd quarter was key. Our told our d at the half that they need to step up and they did. That allowed our offense to relax and just run the plays." Coach Jerz would say afterwards.
But Memphis wasn't finished. They added 14 more points in the fourth to take a commanding 34-10 lead before Marshall knew what hit 'em. Marshall would manage to tack on another score but it was too late for it.
Memphis has one more game left on its' schedule but already seem ready to capture the school's first C-USA title, where they will face the Mustangs of SMU.
Memphis Key Player Stats:

G.Ray: 10carries 88yards 2TDs

Houston beats up on Rice and wins the Battle of The Bayou Bucket. Final score 38-7.
Houston offense and defense were too much to handle for Rice as The Cougars just have way more talent then the Owls.
Bryce Beall was the star of the game with 27 carries for 241 yds and 2 TD's.
Also during the game there was some Heisman talk about Bryce so maybe he is going to be in contention after next advance, ill be watching closely.
