    Battle For The Golden Boot

    #5 LSU - 45
    Arkansas - 14

LSU ends its regular season schedule with a win on the road against rival Arkansas. QB Jordan Jefferson and HB Keiland Williams led the steady Tiger offensive attack. Jefferson was on his way to yet another great game before having to leave the game early in the 3rd quarter with an injury. LSU's team doctor opined that the injury isnt very serious and he should be back in time for the SEC Conference Championship. On the defensive side of the ball, the Tigers gave up two early TDs, but stiffened up from the second quarter on and played a solid game overall.

The Tigers have 2 weeks off before playing in the SEC Championship against Florida. The Tigers will be looking to avenge their only loss of the season and get back into the national title picture.

    #15 Cincy 41

Bearcats bounce back from a horrendous loss to USF to knock out big east rival Rutgers. The Bearcats were led by C. Anderson who racked up 366 total yards of offense and 3 TDs. The Bearcats also got an impressive day out of their defense as they held Rutgers under 200 yards on the day.

For the second user game in a row, the Notre Dame pass defense gives up a huge play in the final minute that costs the team a win. I had a 5 point lead on max's USF team with right around 1 minute to play, and max hit about a 70 yard pass play to the 10 yard line, where his WR made the catch in between 2 Irish defenders. Max ended up getting the 3 point win and wins the Big East title.

Great game max, really nice comeback at the end.

    Kentucky - 14
    Tennessee - 42

Tennessee ends the season whipping their rival Kentucky. Stephens had 300 yards passing with 2 TD's before leaving the game in the 3rd with an injury. Bryce Brown had a modest day, rushing for just over 80 yards of offense. The Vols were able to control the clock in this one, almost doubling up on the Wildcats in TOP. The Vols end the season at 7-5 and await a bowl bid.

GG Dru That was a fun one. B.J. Daniels goes down early, and Daniels' clone Landi comes in a doesnt miss a beat. The Bulls attacked the interior of ND's defensive line with Ford & co, and got lucky on a couple of pass plays when it counted. USF takes the Big East title, but with an undefeated Boise State and Utah ahead of them in the polls... It is unlikely that a 1-loss Bulls team will get a shot at the NC. Dont worry Big East fans, wherever the Bulls go this postseason they'll be sure to represent the toughest conference in this version of the NCAA!

Yeah max, that was an entertaining game for sure. Back and forth and some good plays by both sides. Looking forward to the rematch next year.

Anyways, we now are only waiting on Florida/Oklahoma and for slacker Noles to play his Pittsburgh CPU game. Don't make me sim you Noles.

OU wins its biggest game of the year to put them in their 1st National Title Ever. OU came out strong and with a killer instinct and did not let up the gas pedal the whole game.
    Bradford was a perfect 14-14 for 259 yards and 3 TD's and 1 INT
    D. Murray ran wild for 222 yards on 22 carries with 1 td
Calhoun had 2 rushing tds and 50 yds on the ground.
McCoy lead the Defense and had a monster day with 8 tackles and a sack. He terrorized the QB the whole game.
DE Washington had 3 sacks and the D had 8 as a whole.
Senior CB had a pick 6 early in the game to give OU a comfortable cushion and eliminate the running game from Florida.

How in the FUCK is Bradford 14/14 with an interception?

    Good win, by the way...

    What was the score?

I'm also curious about how you go a 'perfect' 14-14 with a pick.

I've actually seen it happen once to me. I threw a pass to my TE, who got tackled, dropped the ball which was caught in the air by the defender. It was recorded as an INT for my QB, but a completion and fumble by my TE. Wierd play when it happens.

Everybody think "USF vs. OU in the NC" over and over in your head. Maybe we can sway EA's programming through mind power and get a user vs. user NC. It would be a rematch of a supersim'd game earlier in the year too.

If I think about it, maybe I will switch myself to Boise and Utah and have them each lose a game.

Notre Dame narrowly edges #15 Penn State 35-31. Clausen throws 4 picks, although 2 of them were fairly cheesy INT's by the CPU. In the end we made just enough stops to pull out the win.
